The cottage/guest house was immaculate and had all the necessary living furnishings needed. It was nice to have my own place with a kitchen while in Juneau for a week and the price was affordable. I wish there was wifi but the university was nearby so it wasn't a big deal. I liked the location as it was across from Auke Lake, in a quiet pretty area.
I enjoyed my stay very much and would definitely consider staying here again!
The cottage was beautiful new and clean on the exquisite Fritz Cove Rd overlooking Auke Bay. The kitchen is gorgeous and perfect size for two, and fully equipped to prepare your own gourmet dinners which is so nice, not having to go out for a good meal! The cottage is the perfect Juneau getaway. We can't wait to stay there again or recommend it to friends and family.
The Auke Bay Cottage was the perfect place for my parents to stay when they finally visited me in Juneau Alaska. It was very clean and well stocked with the necessary items my parents needed on their vacation. Thank you so much for providing a great little home away from home!!!
The cottage was very nice and just as expected (with minor exception below). It was immaculately clean with plenty of dishes and cookware. the cottage was easy to find. Considering the price and scarcity of accommodations in Juneau, I have to say you would be hard-pressed to find any other accommodations to equal what you get by renting this cottage!
Two things to note - 1) there is no wireless internet (not that its listed as an amenity but just something to point out) and 2) while the listing is accurate in stating that there is a TV in the room, you will not be able to watch anything on it unless you bring DVD's with you - there is no TV reception/cable. Really you should be out exploring all that Juneau has to offer rather than watching TV anyway!
If you are looking for a very nice place to stay while in Juneau I would highly recommend booking your reservation here. It is a very nice area, clean cabin and hosts were very friendly during my stay here.
This cottage is perfect! We stayed there for 7 nights and it was everything that we wanted and needed. It is so cute, clean and stylish with all of the essential daily needs. Travelling to Juneau is a little on the expensive side (for eating out) so having the fully equipped kitchen was awesome. Laura was attentive to all of our needs and the couple of things that we asked for, she delivered in a timely manner. The location was great for us - kindof in the middle of everything. Located just down the road from the university, wi-fi was easily aquired there. I would highly recommend staying at the cottage :)
