I was welcomed by a nice young lady who was attentive and saw to my needs. The chateau was not as clean and neat as the pictures portray, but that was OK. The breakfast was ample and tasty. The grounds were just beautiful, as was the winery in the front of the property. Charlotte was not there, but left a note and a nice bottle of wine. The last night I was there, the host put on a dinner party. I was awakened by loud laughter, singing and piano playing at 23:30 and was kept awake until almost 1 a.m.

The castle and its surroundings are lovely and charming with patina. While it did not bother us and perhaps added to the charm, orderliness and cleanliness could be improved. Paul was helpful and an inviting host. We also got an appreacheated tour at the winery and we get a bottle of wine. To those who do not expect luxury this place is highly recommended.

The castle and yard is very beautiful. Unfortunately, Charlotte wasn't there when we stayed there - which we didn't know. Her son showed us around and was friendly, but it was obvious that Charlotte must be the hostess that usually takes care of the guests. It is definitely special to stay at such a place, but in our opinion it wasn't as neat and clean a we would have liked it - that might be different for other people though.

Charlotte was really welcoming and her Château is lovely! It's an easy tram ride away, so you can stay next to a tranquil vineyard but are still in easy access of the city. The breakfast and wine (made on her estate) was exquisite!

Charlotte is very kind. We were greeted with a bootle of wine from the winery on the grounds of the Chateau. And she gave us a tour of the winery the following morning. We were even invited to pick some luscious cherries to enjoy, as their cherry trees were heavy with fruit. The room was ample with tall ceilings. The parlor and dining room were comfortable spots to sit and read.

Charlotte and her son received the four of us in their comfortable and old family home. As we needed to leave for the concert hall by 8:30pm, she proposed us an early and light meal - seafood salad, wine and fruit. We slept well in the funky rooms. The shared shower-room and WC were fine. The next day Charlotte prepared good French breakfast for us including home-made apricot confiture (from homegrown apricots) and her own honey. We stopped at the chateau's winery where we met winemaker-brother Hubert. He makes many different interesting cuvées - loves to tell you about them - and their wines are now organic.
