We offer you a peaceful retreat in the heart of Tucson for short term rental with seasonal rates from $70.00 per night (see below). The studio shares the private, walled 1/3 acre lot, courtyard and pool with two other structures: a second, working studio and the original mud-adobe home built in the 1940s. We are now solar! New solar panels will more than offset your energy use. And if you are so inclined, we also have bicycles you can borrow.
The property is a surprising oasis right in the middle of Tucson. Located in the Poets Corner neighborhood, a convenient midtown area close to everything -- just off the 3rd street bike path, 2.5 miles east of the University of Arizona and 4.5 miles east of downtown Tucson. You will love the serenity, the classic charm, and the convenience.
The studio is crafted in the classic Santa Fe style, built of sun-dried adobe with a corner beehive fireplace. New updates include a 3/4 bath with a walk-in spa shower and a modern, well-appointed kitchenette. Additional amenities include air conditioning and heating, high speed wireless internet, iHome radio for your iPhone, wireless capable flat screen TV (use your NetFlix account!) with Direct-TV., and solar panels.
During your stay, you will access the studio through a private side yard. A covered car port is available for your vehicle. Rates are seasonal: Summer (6/1-8/15: 70-day/450-wk), Spring/Fall (4/1-6/1 and 8/15-11/15: 80-day/525-wk), Winter (11/15-4/1, exclude Gem Show: 90-day/600-wk), Gem Show (2/01-2/15: 150-day/700-wk).
