A convenient apartment in Kobe walking distance from Sannomiya. Near two stations: 30 mins train time to Osaka, 60 mins Kyoto, or less by bullet train.
Japanese apartment of 43 sqm, less than 20 minutes walk from the centre of Kobe, known locally as Sannomiya. Two bedrooms with tatami floors and furnished with futons, a kitchen dining, a shower/ bath and one spare room. There is no car parking.
The apartment is furnished with futons, a fridge, washing machine, dining table and chairs for four persons.

Guests can expect to be independent during their stay, will have the use of the whole apartment.

The neighbourhood is a typical 'shitamachi' downtown area with plenty of local shops and restaurants, and a couple of shopping arcades.
There is a supermarket about 100 meters away.
About ten minutes walk to the south is the area of HAT Kobe, home to the Kobe earthquake museum (officially the disaster prevention center), Hyogo Art Gallery designed by architect Tadao Ando and HAT Kobe shopping center.
There are three railway stations within ten minutes walk, Hankyu Kasuganomichi, Hanshin Kasuganomichi, and JR Nada. Several trains per hour running until around midnight.
It is a quiet location, with neighbours all around in the same building, so please don't make too much noise. Please remove your shoes Japanese style when entering the apartment and leave them in the entrance area. Sorry no pets.

We have lived in Kobe for many years and really love it. We have apartments that are usually occupied by short term tenants, but on the advice of a friend, we thought it might be perfect to open them up to airbnb.
We are hikers, and 20 years ago I decided to start climbing the one hundred famous mountains of Japan - and I am part way there - but it is taking much longer than I thought.
