  This property is the Mount View Hotel and Spa, and we stayed one night of our honeymoon in one of several rooms and cottages they have. Andrea is the manager. Communication: Andrea was quick to pre-approve the stay, and to approve the booking. She was very helpful on the phone when we needed to change our dates to a later time. We didn't get to meet unfortunately. Cleanliness: This is a hotel with maid service, and the room was very clean, though the bathroom had trouble flushing, and one of our drinking glasses had a crack. Accuracy: The pictures are very accurate. The $99 headline is misleading - it's $99/person with a minimum of 2 people. The breakfast in bed is continental, not a full breakfast. The amenities exclude wi-fi, however I was able to get in our room - perhaps because it was close to the lobby. The mud bath was pleasant, however the "mud" has the texture of water, so it felt just like a scented whirlpool bath. Value: For $199, it's a pretty good deal, considering in includes the bath. You also can save $70 on a hot air balloon ride through the hotel, though our ride was cancelled due to weather. Neighborhood: It's right in downtown Calistoga, so walking distance to great restaurants, shops, and spas with "real" mud. Parking is included. The only odd thing was when it rained as we were checking out, and we asked to borrow an umbrella, the hotel would not help us, because it only lends to current guests. They would not take a cash, id, or credit card deposit. Overall though, it was pretty positive experience, and I'd recommend it to other travelers looking to spend a night or two in Calistoga.

  Very cute and clean room Warm & friendly staff Close to food & drinks Right in the middle of town I went with a girlfriend, and had a wonderful experience.
