L.A. Lifestyle--like you live here

Georgia and Sterling were the best hosts imaginable. Sterling left for a trip while we were there and Georgia told us lots of great little places to see. The room is absolutely grand. Spacious, comfortable, and a dream for anyone who loves authentic 1930s Spanish style architecture and detail. It may seem silly to go on like this, but the tile in our enormous bathroom was exquisite and the workmanship inspired great artistic respect. Georgia's kitchen will leave you glowing. Another plus, she is a fascinating sculptor and her work is there to admire. Next time we go to LA we hope the room is available! Even though we go to visit friends and family, staying at Georgia's is so peaceful and beautiful that it will be our destination.

Georgia and Sterling are great! They opened their home to us and treated us like friends. The room we stayed in has a huge bathroom and easily sleeps 3 people. The outdoor pool is an added bonus. The house is located near the 10 Freeway so it's easy to get around central LA.

Sterling & Georgia were wonderful hosts.They treated us as family members, inviting us to eat with them, driving us to the supermarket and the airport and even inviting us to meet and share a drink with their friends.Our room was very comfortable and convenient,as were the cooking and washing facilities.They provided us with much helpful information about local attractions and transportation.

Very nice house with its own history and stories, good location, comfortable room with private bathroom. It was a pleasure to stay in this house. The family are very friendly and everything was ready to come to our aid, We are very sorry that our stay was so short. I plan to come to Los Angeles again and be sure to stop in this house. I really enjoyed my stay with Sterling and Georgia. They have a beautiful home in a great location, near West Hollywood and convenient to I-10. I had all the privacy I needed and they were flexible about my arrival time. I don't think there's a better place to stay for the location and the price. I hope to stay with them again in the future.

Lovely home and very welcoming and laid back hosts. We felt like we were staying with friends.

The location of Sterling and Georgia's place is superb. Especially if you have a car. I had no idea how reasonable parking was in LA. Really worthwhile having a vehicle and seeing this sprawling city that way. I have found a new best friend in their gorgeous poodle, Ebony. Beautiful.

My boyfriend and I stayed with Georgia and Sterling for the first couple of nights of our three-week trip to the US, and we could not have felt more welcome! The room was gorgeous and tidy, and we were made very comfortable in their home. We had fun chatting to Georgia about our plans during the holidays and just general life stuff! :) It's a shame we didn't get to meet Sterling! I cannot recommend Georgia's home enough. This historic building has to be seen to be believed. From the black shag pile carpet, to the ornate handmade wall tiling in the bathrooms to the grand piano and 10ft high floor to ceiling windows, this place is a dream. The quality of the house itself is only rivaled by the quality of its host - Georgia. As new comers to LA, it was extremely helpful to have such a kind and informative host. She really made us feel at home and even mothered our friend Paul's sore throat with a cup of the best lemon honey he's ever tasted (his words).

We had a great visit with Sterling and Georgia in their magnificent home. This 1932 built house has features that simply do not exist in homes today. Every bedroom has it's own bath and the kitchen is any chefs dream complete with tile on every wall and the ceiling. I have never seen that is a home. Georgia is a fabulous artist and very outgoing. We had terrific conversations that could have gone on forever. They are centrally located in L.A. and we highly recommend staying there for so many reasons.

Georgia and Sterling are just amazing people! I found their listing by dumb luck on (website hidden), and the pics of the home seemed so cool that I just had to book. I have never done a "stay at someones home" before, but this was just so excellent. Georgia was such a pleasent person, and she truly made me feel at home. Sterling is a great guy, and very knowledgable. They both had great recommendations on where to go, and how to get there. Their home was even better in person, and they have the best kitchen in any home I have seen. I still missing it, and as soon as I am able to make the trip back out there, I will go again no questions asked.
