Victorian splendor w/ private bath

If you want to see the city like a local and stay at the warm,welcoming, lovely home of one of San Fran's most accommodating hosts THIS IS THE PLACE. Clean, comfortable, quiet. I highly recommend joyce's Victorian splendor. And Joyce could not be more helpful. Will definitely stay again.

Joyce is a fantastic host. She's very knowledgable os her neighborhood. She's also a world traveler! Her apartment is nicely decorated with fabulous color combinations. Her place is very relaxing and the bed is so comfortable. I end up slept 12 hours a day! If you are coming to SF and want to exploring in Mission area, Joyce's place is your best choice!!

Joyce was friendly and welcoming. She made sure my stay was clean, comfortable, and convenient. I'll be staying here again in the future when I am back to SF.

Joyce is an amazing host, and Victorian Splendor is the best room I've rented on AirBnb. If you've been to the city before, but haven't checked out the Mission you'll be blown away by the food, bars and night life within a few blocks. If you haven't been to the city before you're in for something really special - Joyce will see to it that you fall in love. For old SF hands like myself Victorian Splendor was a restful, quiet place to recharge during a busy week. Would definitely repeat!

Joyce greeted us graciously and made us feel right at home. Her directions and her willingness to be contacted to clarify and help were appreciated. Her home is beautiful and comfortable. The room we stayed in is light and airy and the bathroom is not only large but well appointed. The rest of the home - the kitchen and living areas were comfortable and inviting. The location of the home is a great plus for visitors to S.F The mission is a great ethnic area with interesting sites such as the Mission and Park Dolores and loads of terrific restaurants and shops. Simply put, Joyce's house is as wonderful as she is.

Great location, terrific hostess with lots of knowlege to share about San Francisco (she is a tour guide!) The Mission is a great area to stay in - close to public transportation, good restaurants, and interesting sights. From her home you can walk to alot of places. Her home is bright, light, airy, with a warm and relaxed atmosphere. A great bonus is the deck in the backyard for sunning. (The Mission actually has more sun than most parts of San Francisco). You won't regret a stay at Chez Joyce!

Joyce is my colleague and fellow photographic traveller. Her extensive knowledge of not only the Bay Area and California but points in Asia, Latin America and Europe places her in a nice position to entertain and share with guests from around the world, and in several languages besides her most charming and educated English.
