Large room with big leaded glass window on third floor of a beautiful, historic home that is located in the town center near the waterfront, beaches, restaurants, etc. Bath is in hallway. Floor and bath are private unless someone you know wants to also take the other bedroom on the floor which offers a queen-sized bed.
30 mins to providence, newport, or cape cod. An hour to two airports, marthas vineyard and boston. Three hours to NYC.

    We ended up in Fairhaven really by mistake - a last minute change to our travel plans meant that we needed emergency accommodation at short notice. Paul was extremely quick to respond to our plea, and gave us a great offer. We loved Fairhaven & the surrounding area - amazing fishing, really, really great food & beer in Margaret's and fascinating story. The house itself is beautiful, old, perfectly clean & cosy, and Heidi looked after us so well. A definite recommendation if you wanted to get off the 'beaten New England track.'

    it was such a surprise to find we were in such an historic house. It is a fantastic place to stay and Paul has set it up so you really feel special. The breakfast in the dining room was excellent and the room was spacious.
