Description

The space

I rent a very nice mansard close to the see, with two bedrooms, 1 bathroom with a washing machine, a living room with a kitchenette and a panoramic terrace. There is WI-FI. It is combinable with another room with private bathroom. A 5 minute walk from the apartment there are all the stores that you need: supermarkets, newspapers, stores, pharmacy, and great restaurants. The apartment is close to the beach and the marina where many boats depart for the famous beaches of Cala Luna, Cala Mariolu, Cala Sisine and the Grotta del Bue Marino. In 15 minutes by car, going for a scenic drive, you can reach the beautiful beaches of Cartoe and Osalla. The area is very rich in archaeological sites, such as the Tomb of the Giants, the nuragic village "Serra and Orrios", the village of Tiscali, the Nuraghe Mannu and many others. For those who enjoy hiking I recommend the Gorge Gorropu. Finally, I also remind you that Cala Gonone is the paradise for climbing.
Cala Gonone and its neighbors are beautiful even in winter: do not miss the Carnival with dances and wine in the streets ...

I was born in Rome from Sardinian parents. I live in Rome but as soon as I can I go to Sardinia. Sardinia is a special place and I think it is wrong to visit it only in summer and stopping only to the seaside places. The hinterland is wonderful, the cuisine special, there are beautiful festivals throughout the year. Tip: do not miss the Carnival, in Dorgali!!
