Kathleen's place is in a very nice part of town, quiet yet still close to all the action. Communication was easy and she really has the space hooked up for a comfortable, magazines, toiletries, snacks, and more! I especially enjoyed relaxing on her nice front porch. Great value.

Kathleen was there to greet me when I checked in, she took my through the hoops and ensured that I knew how to reach her, need be. The place was clean, just as the pictures indicated, and better than I imagined. There is a great amount of privacy, both for that space and the entire neighborhood. I always felt safe wandering. Her place is close to downtown, the music scenes, and grocery stores. It was easy to get up and go anywhere. Check out was also a breeze, I was able to get up and go. Ultimately, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to vacation or staycation in Austin!

Staying at Kathleen's was fantastic! She had everything we could have possible needed already available and was extremely kind and accommodating! It was easy to get to the busy areas of downtown Austin but provided a quite place to rest! Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to anyone!

Kathleen has so much information (bike trails, maps, recommendations, etc.) that is ready for you. She includes everything you need including first aid kits, coffee, and toothpaste. The neighborhood and house itself are adorable. Definitely one of the nicer AirBnB's I've been too! Thank you Kathleen for being so accommodating!

Kathleen is by far the best host we've ever had. Friendly and very helpful, we got there early and she told us a lot about what to do in Austin. Cute little 1 bedroom that felt like home. Kathleen provided everything and anything you would ever need to aloe to bikes. We will definitely stay here again when coming back to Austin!

This was a cute and very well-equipped studio apt in a quiet Austin neighborhood close to shops and restaurants in South Austin and within an easy bike ride or Fasten ride (Austin's version of Uber). My husband and I were very comfortable for our stay on our way from Atlanta to the Navajo Res in Arizona. Kathleen was wonderful with communication. She realized that we left our ChromeCast plugged into the TV and she's very kindly agreed to ship it back!

Kathleen User ProfileKathleen is a superhost.

I have lived in Austin most of my life. My family moved here in 1958 when my father got a teaching job at UT. I spent my twenties in beautiful Boulder, CO then came back home. I feel fortunate to live in one of the coolest neighborhoods in one of the most interesting and livable cities. I am retired other than managing the two short-term rentals spaces in my triplex. I love meeting the guests. Hearing what people from Europe to Australia observe about Austin has broadened my perspective.
