Amazing water view in Battery park

Great place to stay in while in the Big Apple. The apartement is located at the back side of the Ritz Carlton. We paid a fraction of the cost that a room at the Ritz would have costed us, and stayed in a very spacious, beautifully decorated, very well equipped and centrally located in the lovely Battery Park City. Our host, Hava, responded positively and very efficiently to our needs and requests. Will definitely try to stay here again during our next visit to New York.

we stayed 3 nights in the lovely apartment of Ava and had a wonderfull time. The apartment is very confortable, very bright, and very well located. The view is magic, as well as the surrounding. My husband, our 3 teenagers as well as myself appreciated very much the hospitality of Ava. We recommend this lovely place for couples or family.

Awesome place with very beautiful harbour views. Our New York City trip would not have been that fantastic if not for this comfortable accommodation.

Our stay at Hava's was great. The apartment was perfect for our needs (two adults and three young kids) and the location is close to several nice restaurants and parks. Hava provided clear instructions for our stay, called me ahead of time to make sure all the arrangements were in order, and then emailed me after we arrived to ensure we got into the apartment okay. She could not have done more as a host. I highly recommend Hava’s place.

We had a wonderful stay at Hava's NYC apartment. Hava was an excellent communicator and made all the arrangements easily and in a timely manner. The photos are an accurate representation of the apartment, which is very well kept and pleasant to stay in. The area is fantastic--very quiet at night (unlike many locations in the city), but close to public transportation. The 7th Ave bus, which goes to and from the theater district, stops right in front of the building. We were particularly impressed by the beautiful public spaces in the neighborhood. The apartment overlooks the river and a park, and there are several beautiful green spaces within a short walk, including the new 9/11 Memorial. I would highly recommend this apartment, and Hava as your host, for a great time in NYC.

What a perfect experience: from the communication with the Hava the host to the beautiful, quiet, sunny, HUGE apartment. I lived in NYC for 8 years and this apartment was nicer than any I ever lived in. The doormen were terrific and helpful, too. The keys were available easily. And the views out the window overlooking the Hudson were spectacular. There's a park and walking/biking trail and great little restaurants/coffee and bakery shops within a block. The subway station was close but we also took a cab a couple of times were able to hail one right in front of the apartment building each time. Hava made sure that we had everything we needed (including the bonus of a lovely tray of breakfast goodies.) There are two (YES, TWO) huge bathrooms and the place was spotless. No need to every stay in a hotel again (unless Hava's place isn't available.) I will definitely be back and highly recommend Hava's place to everyone!

We could not have asked for more. The apartment was spacious, clean, nicely decorated, and toddler-ready (e.g., great toys, outlet covers). And dealing with Hava was very easy. This was a comfortable, hassle-free experience. We can't wait for our next visit.

Stayed at Hava's two bedroom/ two bath located in Battery Park for NYC vacation with 10 year old daughter. Location is terrific. Walking distance to Status of Liberty/Ellis Island ferry. Easy walk to cafe's and subway stops. Apartment is clean and comfortable. Note that 2nd bedroom has full-size airbed vs. and full-size/frame bed (Hava makes this clear in ad). That room also has two cute little beds for younger children (a tight fit for any child over 48"). The apartment is located in a very attractive apartment building with doorman and other services. Hava was a delight to work with especially in light of the hurricane coming through two days before our arrival (apartment, building, and city untouched).

We were to stay at Hava's apartment the weekend Hurricane Irene hit New York. The decision not to go was made for us when American Airlines cancelled all flights into LGA. Not only that, Battery City Park was in Area A for evacuation. Hava couldn't have been more understanding. Even though she has a "Strict" cancellation policy, she promptly refunded the entire amount of the rental. We hope to reschedule again.

Hava and her family are very good friends of ours, they have a beautiful apt which is very clean and well designed. They have no pets and it will be a pleasure to stay there! Enjoy!
