CHARMING DUPLEX IN GOTHIC QUARTER

OMG! From the outside it does not look like much, but once inside you enter your own oasis. This duplex is beautiful. It sits in the heart of La Rambla which is perfect. Great location to all the bars and restaurants. Monica, our host was perfect. When in Barcelona I STRONGLY suggest you stay here, you won't be disappointed.

L'emplacement de l'appartement est super. Au coeur même du quartier gothic, parmi ses habitants. A 2 pas de tout. Un excellent pied à terre. Mais c'est vraiment bruyant. Patricia soucieuse de notre bien-être nous a donné de bonnes adresses.

Room was gorgeous, (don't be fooled from outside) and location was so convenient. Monica was very friendly and nice. She answers all your questions you have and tries to help at her best.

Hi! We had a lovely time in Barcelona. The apartment is in a good location, right in the city center but not by the main road, and close to the beach in the same time. It looks like on the pictures and is thoughtfully equipped in things that I did not expect to find:) like an orange juice presser or an iron for that example. Monica is very friendly and gives a lot of advice as to where to eat. I do recommend to listen to her advise, because we didn't and we have been a bit unlucky with the food. Good luck Monica!

Monica's apartment in Barcelona was lovely, she was there to greet us and was very warm.  The apartment is like the pictures, cosy but enough space for us to get around.  The whole apartment has been renovated so everything was fresh and new.  Wifi was available, which was appreciated.  It was well situated close to La Ramblas and just off a main road, with easy access to the metro, wonderful walking to discover the gothic centre.  the market was not too far, just up the Las Ramblas (which had fresh fruits, vegetables as well as meat and seafood) .  We loved walking around and got a lot of exercise.  The restaurants were lovely throughout the city.  We really enjoyed Barcelona, and Monica's lovely apartment added to the experience.  As the apartment is situated close to business it was a little noisier on the weekend.  As others said, this is all part of the full Barcelona experience and wouldn't deter us from staying here again.

Lovely little flat in a fantastically central and convenient location. Perfect for a couple. It is quite noisy outside so come prepared. Monica is a lovely hostess and went out of her way to accommodate our need to store luggage after we had already checked out.

The Charming Duplex is a nice accommodation for happy days in Barcelona. The interior is pretty. Everything you need is on hand. Placed mIddle in the Gothic Quarter you can visit plenty of sights by foot in a few minutes. Due to the central position and the narrow streets it is a little bit noisy. Monica is very cooperative and gave us usefull hints for a perfect stay in this wonderful city.

This is a very charming place. We enjoyed it very much. The location is very convenient, just a few blocks from the Liceu metro station.

Wonderful location. Everything just as pictured. Monica is perfect hostess. Do bring earplugs as you are on ground level and the street noise continues into the wee hours - but in the end is just another part of the Barcelona experience.

Monica is the best!!! She is a super creative, inspiring and silly friend who I just adore. Her flat is very well situated in the heart of Barcelona, and with her interior design background, her place is of course beautiful and well thought out. If you have the chance to hear her laugh, you won't regret it ;)
