Cozy and Quiet in Nederland CO

I arrived in the middle of a snowstorm and they were awesome and came to get me from town. The place is great for a getaway, tucked away up in the mountain among the trees, but only a mile from Nederland. Cozy, quiet, and comfortable. Perfect for a getaway or a retreat.

I invited two of my brothers to go skiing in Eldora for the weekend and we needed a place to stay locally to avoid an hour and a half drive each day to the mountain from my house. I found Shara's place in Nederland and it looked very comfortable and clean. Since it is set up to accomodate one or two people most comfortably, she graciously offered extra blankets and pillows to allow for the third brother to sleep on the floor. The apartment was clean and warm with a few food items in the cupboards, which was offered for our consumption. We were able to have a small breakfast and hit the slopes. It was a great little place to return to after a day of skiing and was just minutes from the slopes. Wifi was available to us, which was great. Shara was fantastic with communication and the whole process was smooth as silk. I definitely recommend her "cozy and quiet" studio. Just as an FYI, I have Verizon wireless and had a signal on my iPhone at her place as well as Eldora.

We loved the seclusion and all the windows showing pines. The apt. was clean, warm and was easy to get to, but far enough outside the Nederland metropolis to escape the fast life. This was a wintery time and place and I'd like to see what it's like in the summer.

I was seeking a place of rest and inspiration while planning my next business endeavor. I found everything I wanted here--beauty, peace, and inspiration. Thank you Shara and Airbnb!

My husband and I had an absolutely BEAUTIFUL stay at Shara's house. We loved the proximity to nature, the access to a stocked kitchen (including free snacks and staples) and the gorgeous views out every window. At night, we turned out all the lights save for a few candles and it was beyond gorgeous. The space was clean and well stocked and Shara was great to work with. It was clear that she wanted our stay to be pleasant and that she was willing to go out of her way to accomodate her guests. We would go back anytime. Thanks, Shara, for a great getaway.! Sincerely, TaRosa PS IF YOU ARE A COFFEE DRINKER, please be aware that the home does not have coffee available beyond freeze dried. We told Shara we'd need milk for coffee and she had skim in the fridge for our stay. BRING YOUR OWN GROUNDS and be prepared to use a pour through method coffee maker. You use the electric kettle to heat the water then pour it over the grounds. Stir the grounds so that they steep a bit as the water pours through. Cap the pot in order to keep heat in. Several pour throughs will be required for a full pot, but the coffee will be tasty if the beans are good! ;)

It was a windy rainy night in Nederland, but we were warm and cozy at Shara's lovely studio. Very quiet location, but not far from town. Hosts were very considerate. Many thanks!

This place was awesome! I loved the little reading alcove surrounded by windows. We got great views of the surrounding trees and fresh snowfall. Shara was very helpful in suggestions places to eat and good hikes to consider.

This is a truly gorgeous and peaceful "treehouse"! It turned out to be the perfect option for visiting the region, as Nederland is central, and has restaurants and a cute downtown with a health food store and everything. Shara and Erik are hospitable and friendly, and we felt right at home.

Shara’s treehouse was stop #2 on our 2-week honeymoon adventure. The suite/room was immaculate with caring touches including games, books, a lit walkway, her art photo’s, a large shower, candles, and even a couple microbrewery beers! Of course there was also the wonderful view and we loved being able to look up from the bed and see stars! We saw two large foxes at night and the town was fun to explore the next morning. Although we had found a wonderful café on the outskirts of town, we were sorry to have missed what we had heard was: The Best Pizza in the world! Our stay was truly a romantic and wonderful experience for our honeymoon memories…

I enjoyed my stay very much ! The studio appartment was clean and comfortable with all facilities and a grand view over the trees. Very cozy and quiet indeed. A good base for trips to nearby Rocky Mountain State Park and Indian Peaks Wilderness.. The hosts Shara and Eric were very hospitable and helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We had a nice chat over some local beers and found we shared many common interests. I would definitely stay here again when coming to Colorado.
