  • The apartment is nice and fine for budget travellers, and a bus stop to downtown Seattle is a block away. (However if you have a lot of luggage the buses are inconvenient - better fork out for a taxi!) We had a slight problem getting into the apartment but Anna maintained communication (despite our travel difficulties) and while we were there a better lock was fitted. Overall it is a nice apartment, but small comforts for travellers would make it an easier stay. (Preferring long-distance visitors to bring their own linens and towels is optimistic). Minor furnishings like bedside lamps, simple pictures and towel rails/bath mat would make it more comfortable.

  • Cute place - plenty of parking & great location. Check-in and check-out was a breeze - she wasn't available for check-in, but she gave us great instructions for letting ourselves in. She came by later in the week to say hi & bring extra blankets. The apartment was clean, and the internet was reliable. She asked us to put the sheets in the washer before we left, which was easy enough. I really enjoyed the stay, and I would stay here again.

  • The apartment itself was quite nice inside (although the building looks rather shabby from the front). 23rd Ave is a very busy street, but the bedroom doesn't face the street so road noise was minimal. Bed was uncomfortable. It seems as if the heat has been permanently disconnected (the heat was turned up all the way but nothing came out). There was a small electric heater in the bedroom that kept the bedroom warm while I slept, but when I woke up in the morning, the rest of the apartment was quite chilly...and it's not like it was winter. I imagine it must be freezing cold in the winter! The kitchen was nice but was lacking some crucial utensils (spatula? salt?). On a positive note, the shower was EXCELLENT. Getting into the apartment was extremely awkward. Directions from the host didn't adequately explain how to get into the main door of the apartment, and once inside the lobby, the master lock to get the key was also initially somewhat difficult to figure out. Communication from the host was also lacking. Admittedly, she was out of town, but she left a number for a friend who allegedly could be contacted in her absence. I had a question and left a message for this friend and never received a call back. Since I didn't get a call back, I sent the host an email requesting further details on how to get into the apartment. I sent the email at 6pm, and didn't get a response until 1AM! I was out with a friend until 1:30AM so it didn't end up being that big of a deal, but it would've been quite frustrating had I not been out so late. Overall I would probably not stay here again. Although now I have all the tricky things figured out, and a second stay would probably be much less exasperating, I'm still not super stoked on the place. Nonetheless. the price is good, and if you can get all the details figured out in advance, it probably beats a hotel room. Just make sure to bring your own spatula and salt if you want to cook breakfast.

  • The place was clean and comfortable. a A bit sterile, but nice. Anna was great and responsive. The bus line drops you right outside and Ezell's is great!!

  • The apartment itself is nice and has lovely upgrades. However, you should know up front that the host prefers that you bring your own sheets and linens rather than using hers. If you use hers, you are expected to launder the items prior to departure. This was mildly inconvenient, but I made it work. There was trash all over the parking lot of this condo unit and one must walk through mud and leaves to get to the front door.

  • If you prefer to be staying in downtown Seattle, it is a bit off in the suburbs. However, the bus system is great and it was only a 20 minute ride into downtown. The apartment itself is nicely furnished and clean, but next time in Seattle I would prefer paying a bit more to be closer to town.

  • The location was very good for me, Capital Hill center only a 3 minute drive.free. Free easy parking in the back of the apartment. The place is clean good size for 2 people modern Kitchen ,no cable tv. Hope to stay there again .

  • The accommodation was certainly adequate, although the photos on line made me realize it was obviously staged for the photo shoot! Kitchen was nicely updated and although we didn't cook, we couldn't find a coffee machine. Knowing that there was parking was great!

  • Anna is a great host! The place was very clean and modern. Absolutely perfect location for me as well. Close to great people and not too far from cool shops and restaurants. A perfect jumping off point for all your Seattle adventures. The only drawback was the bed was a little uncomfortable. I'd totally recommend Anna's place(s) to any other AirBNB member.

  • Needed a place to stay near my son in Seattle. This was perfect. Nice to come home to our own place after sightseeing all day. Clean and comfortable.
