This is a cozy little place to stay. Very quiet and perched on four maples in a blanket of ferns. Access is by a ramp 50 ft. from the main house.It has heat and electricity. The loft has a queen sized futon and there is a single bed on the main floor.It also has a comfy reading chair that rocks and a porch. The hot tub is a sweet new addition to the
place. Private bath and shower in the main house. There is also a guestroom in the main house with a double bed. We have no pets and are very neat and tidy but you can bring your dog if you want.

This is a wonderful treasure to come by and if you have the chance to visit we highly recommend it. Tucked up in the trees, with a stunning view, both the Tree House and H and Ellie's home is inviting and breathtaking. If you are looking for a peaceful environment to get a renewing night sleep and a fantastic breakfast in the morning, this is the place we'd recommend. H and Ellie are engaging, thoughtful, and kind hosts that make it even more fun to be there! We loved it.

Harry and Ellie are amazing, generous, kind and wonderful people who went out of their way to make Stacey's 30th birthday a truly warming experience for both of us. Stacey and I will never forget our stay in the treehouse and we are inspired to build our own someday. We were undeterred by the two feet of snow and chilly weather, and found ourselves cozy, toasty and comfortable throughout the night. Thanks again you two!

Harrison & Ellie are lovely souls who made this experience a dear experience. To be honest, I wanted to keep this a secret. Or consider this adventure solely ours. This was an amaaaaazing off-beat way to spend a few days. If you happen to visit in the winter, you may want to bring an extra down comforter (we were never cold) ... and snow tires a must. I look forward to heading up again to enjoy Mad River Glen, sipping the local brews at the village pub or seeking solace in the treehouse just by gazing at the swaying snow touched maples. I hope to return and experience every season here.

We had a great time in the treehouse, warm, cozy, safe. According to Ellie and Harry, we survived the windiest night anyone has ever stayed in the treehouse. It was great! The property and the main house are beautiful with spectacular views of the mountain. The breakfast was delicious. All of Harry and Ellie's recommmendations for things to do in the area were spot on (i.e. The Bobcat, Dan's Place, the Battel hiking trail, Burlington). We also enjoyed getting to know one another, having some great conversations,learning about Ellie's newest book, and seeing Harry's wood shop. We're looking forward to staying in the treehouse again, checking out their Burlington condo, and hopefully seeing Ellie and Harry in New York. They are wonderful hosts and we would recommend staying with them.

H was an awesome host! Ivania and I had a fantastic time in the treehouse (and main house), and really enjoyed his company. We managed to not only climb a nearby mountain on a beautiful November afternoon, but also visit three of H's personal favorite restaurants in the nearby town of Bristol AND plan our upcoming stay in NYC in the comfort of his home. Great conversation, hospitality, breakfast, etc. made staying at the treehouse a truly enjoyable experience. We only wish that Ellie had been there to share in the fun! Thanks so much! P.S. Ivania is nearly finished with Ellie's book, H. She says "thank you" once again!

The condo was small but cozy - just right for our needs while in beautiful Vermont. Harrison and Ellie were very pleasant and welcoming hosts.

Harrison and Ellie's condo is sweet, cosy and clean- a real home away from home. They were very kind and helpful, especially when I arrived later than planned. Everything I needed was available in the condo, and it was really easy to get to town and to the Lake from theirs, although far enough away from the centre to avoid the noise at the weekend. And if you're lucky you might get one of Ellie's homemade scones!

We loved the Downtown Condo in Burlington. Although quite small. it had everything we needed for our 2 day stay. The owners were just great!! Walking didtance to Church Street and the Lake was so covenient.

Harry and Ellie are terrific hosts and their condo is a wonderful base from which to enjoy all of Burlington. Once I parked my car, I didn't need it again until I departed from the city, and the condo itself is compact, well-furnished, and truly pleasant. It is located in the back part of a funky old house, so the stairs creak and the floors are not quite level--totally charming! My favorite space is the little screened-in back porch. This is a great place to stay!
