The space

The 1001 Nights room is a magical room in our traditional riad (house) in the heart of Marrakech.
The 1001 Nights room is a junior suite, spacious with large arched windows and beautiful oriental curves.
It has its own private patio in front, where you can relax on the large sofa.
There is a double bed and a single sofa bed.
Another bed can be added to accommodate up to 2 adults and 3 children.
The en-suite bathroom, with shower, is made of traditional tadelakt (a typical moroccan plaster-work finish)
There are 5 other bedrooms in the Riad, all very different in style and size.
The riad, a traditional house built around an open patio with a fountain and trees, is very peaceful.
You can relax on the roof terrace on a lounger or in one of the tents, in the jacuzzi/pool or why not try the hammam!
Moad, the 2 Rachidas and Hassan will welcome you warmly and help you organise your stay in Marrakech.

Guest access

Guests have access to the roof terrace, the central courtyard, the jacuzzi and the hammam.

The riad is very big and airy with lots of places to sit in relax, the thing we liked most is the lovely breakfast on the terrace.

Response from RiadO2:
Dear Serena, Thank you for your kind comments on Riad O2. It is true that breakfast on the terrace is a great way to start the day. We did arrange the transfer of your friends from the airport to Riad O2 and they were guided directly to the door of the riad but as you said you were already in Marrakech we presumed that you would have got directions from the other riad you were staying at before you came to Riad O2, apologies for any inconvenience caused. We would greatly appreciate it if you could clarify some of your other remarks, the riad has recently had maintenance work done and we try to do this work during weeks/times where there is the least possible disturbance for guests. Kind regards, Annette, Marie, Hugues, Moad, the two Rachidas and Hassan.

I was with my female friends. Abosolutly brilliant place to stay! Can't recommend enough. Quite, convenient location, food was really good(we tried eat out, but still finds the food in riad is the best). Hassan was really nice and helpful, also his kebab is the best! I feel so sorry for them to serve us during ramadan time, but they are all so sweet and helpful. Annette is really responsive and helpful although didn't get time to meet, but helped us arranged everything. Aziz was a nice guide&driver takes us for three day desert trip. Very patient. Wish we can take longer days for the trip. Room was very clean and cozy. The only little disappointment was the hammam as the girl forgot to clean the back of my girlfriend, guess she was tired and forgot coz it was late afternoon during ramadan time. Will def stay here again!

Dear Angela, Thank you for your lovely comments. It was a pleasure to host you and I too would have loved to meet you, but maybe next time. Delighted to hear you enjoyed your excursion to the desert with Aziz. Our apologies for the hammam, Safia is usually so thorough. Please remember you benefit from a loyalty discount of 15% on your next visit and 10% discount to any of your friends or family who also come and visit us. Best wishes, Annette and all the Riad O2 team.

What a beautiful riad! It was so comfortable and the room was exactly like the pictures. I was sold the room based on the private lounge area, which turned out to be communal - good Job we had wonderful neighbours! Rachida was a wonderful cook, friendly and smiley and the breakfast was delicious. I would definately recommend eating her lovely food! The only thing I would say, is that we hardly ever saw the managers. On our first day we spent most of the time in the riad, as we didn't have any keys - luckily one of the cleaners was available to help. Make sure you organise your own set as soon as you arrive. I had a pedicure which was below average and my sister had a massage she enjoyed. Both reasonably priced. Overall lovely riad!

We, two grown-ups and a 4-year-old, spent a week A charming riad with a perfect location near the souks and just next to Sidi Ben Slimane, where you can easily get a cab. A 1001 Nights' feeling with a big, charming rooftop terrace. Very child-friendly environment and nice employees. The only downside is, since it isn't heated, it tends to get cold during nighttime in february.

My partner and I stayed in Riad O2 for two nights when we first landed in Marrakech. It was comfortable and warm with really helpful and funny hosts. They arranged pick up from the airport, Hammam and helpful advice for getting around. The price includes a really generous breakfast best taken on the beautiful roof top terrace. Comfortable bed, free wifi, excellent communication and a great location minutes walk from all the Medina has to offer. I would definitely stay here again.

We are a French couple who live now in Ireland but fell in love with Morocco many years ago.
We decided to buy a place in Marrakech and after a long period of renovation work to combine modern comfort, traditional material and our taste for design, we finally created the beautiful Riad O2 and opened it to individual travellers.
Westerly House is our new venture in Ireland and we think this is an exceptional property to welcome large family groups in this stunningly beautiful part of Ireland on the Wild Atlantic Way.
We also enjoy meeting people and telling them about our favourite places to see and visit.
