NYC - Quick and Easy

  The location was very convenient and we had everything we needed. Shabs' wife Frida also provided us with very comprehensive instructions on getting around; we didn't run into any problems at all! Very clean and homey stay :)

  this was our first time with airbnb and we could not of asked for better ,if its your first time in new york it may be too much as you did have to get the bus , subway and airtrain to get too your place of stay,from the airport. we found the days long as it was too much like hard work to get back to the appartment and freshen up or take bags back, but on the upside the hosts were wonderful and could not do enough to help us the room was clean and tidy, towels hairdryers and shampoo was all there to use, and the bus ride was only 10 mins into the city and the bus comes along every ten mins, be brave and stay here and see the real new york, with the money you save you can go mad on 5th avenue!!!!!!

  Great location! Very convenient to Manhattan via various buses which come at frequent intervals (less then 5mins). Great host! Shabs and his wife are very very friendly and accommodating. Room was as shown in his emailed photo; very peaceful and safe. Will definitely stay here again!

  We visited New York for the first time and Shabs and Frida were wonderful people who were very kind to us and made our NY experience very pleasant. The room was very comfortable and clean , the shared kitchen was clean and tidy too with everything filled up there was privacy and no interference or any disturbance from anyone.We were provided with loads of information to help us get started which we found useful they also provided us the bus schedules to and fro NY which really helped us also there was a bit problem with my bus schedule to reach to philly while leaving and we had 4 bags and Shabs out of way helped us to reach at bus terminal on time by offering us a ride in his car,also the neighborhood is very safe you can stay at his place with family and can come at midnight too without any fear,above all the indian restaurant Spice of India just opposite to house solves your food problem if you don't want to cook and come tired and the price is reasonable too.I would be for sure visiting him again next time and it would be with my kids as i am know its the best HOME away from HOME. from the bottom of my heart i would like to thank Shabs & Frida for making our stay wonderful in New York

  Wouhh! Rita & Shabs are very nice! We arrived early but the room was ready in few minutes, the fridge was full and the house was very comfortable. They are very, very kind. It's really, really good when you are at only 10 minutes of Times Square. The location is very good. The next time, we will repeat. Thank You!! Isaac & Esther.

  It was great experience to stay in this apartment. We visited New York for the first time and our hosts helped us a lot with directions and the local transport schedule. The neighbourhood is safe and quiet. We found a variety of shops and restaurants in walking distance. In our next visit to New York we will definitely stay at Farida's and Shabs's place. Thank you!

  We stayed 2 weeks with this wonderful couple over christmas and new years. It's the most easiest way to get to new york and so much cheaper and more relaxed then actually staying in manhatten it self. There's all you need, and they gave us some really good advises what to do and where to go. We would recommend them to everyone! Thank you so much for having us!

  My wife and I really enjoyed our stay with Shabs and Farida. The house is conveniently situated on a bus route taking you into NYC right near times square in around 15 minutes. We were provided with loads of information to help get us started which we found useful. The room was spacious and there are two choices of bathroom which meant we could always get up and get going without any delays. The kitchen is well stocked so cooking was a breeze - for those on a budget this can certainly help reduce the costs of a trip. A supermarket is situated just around the corner and there are a few restaurants around too. We would both recommend staying here and will definitely return if the opportunity arises.

  Best place to stay if you don't want to stay in the crazy city. You're in NY in no time. The place is clean and safe. We would comeback to the place at midnight and no problem. Bus rides cheap and 24/7.

  Basically all the reviews that were posted already are true. Easy transportation to NY (around ~12 minutes to Port Authority Bus Terminal), clean and spacious room, and best of all, very very nice hosts. Highly recommended.

  Shabs and Frida are kindest than you can expect, the room is very big and beds are comfortable. Union city is really near from the center of Manhattan and with NJ Transit busses it takes onl 10 minutes to get to manhattan. Nice coming back home late at night and walking in Boulevard Est where you can see a really nice view of Manhattan!

  I visited the US for the first time and Farida and Shabs helped me a lot with directions and the local transport schedule. There is a bus stop just a few footsteps away (NJ transit 156) which passes every 20 min. This bus goes directly to Manhattan Port Authority Bus Terminal right next to Time Square and takes between 15 min and 25 min. There is also a supermarket just around the corner. Thank you for the kind hospitality!

  Nous avons passé huit jours à NY et avons séjourné ma fille et moi chez des hôtes vraiment très charmants.il y avait deux autres couples en même temps que nous mais cela ne pose aucun problème .le bus nous amène à Manathan en 10 minutes sauf aux heures de pointe où cela peut atteindre 45 minutes. Chambre simple et propre,cuisine et salle de bain indépendante de celle des propriétaires.il y a 3 ou 4 chambres pour les invités il faut se partager les locaux communs (wc,sdb et cuisine). Adresse à conseiller pour le rapport qualité/prix.
