This lovely top floor apartment at the Buckman Guest House has a large, sunny, living room, dining room, bedroom with queen bed, parlor with full bed, living room with daybed and office area with desk. There is a sweet eat in kitchen, big private bath and a smoking/breakfast porch with a beautiful West facing view of the city (please don't smoke in the house). Your own private door facing SE Stark isn't shared with anyone. You won't be bothered, you can come and go as you would your own home. You can bring your bikes and sporting equipment into the porch. This is the entire top level of a historic duplex and makes a sweet home away from home.
The main floor of the house is occupied by the hostess (sheila) and her daughter (addie, 12) who live in a completely separate apartment.
Located in the Heart of Southeast Portland, this charming apartment is light and open and comfortably furnished. Not a rowdy, party place but great for an affordable romantic getaway, a place for a reconnecting with family, a quiet space for a busy business trip or a personal retreat. Sunny and cozy space.
Fully equipped kitchen with all the basics (if you need anything else, you can just let me know). Environmentally conscious cleaning products and Hepa vacumn used to clean. No pets stay at this property so no worries about allergies. Great light, even with the "white skies" of Portland.
If you're coming to Portland without a car, this is a great location with the bus just 3 blocks down, cabs are cheap and of course biking is all the rage here.
We'd love to have you come and visit.
You and Sheila
