This was a comfortable and friendly place to stay - very centrally located in the Medina, yet still quiet. (Just be aware if you're staying in the Medina that you'll definitely be navigating in narrow streets amidst fast moving mopeds! It's great to have a quiet retreat from the chaos). We didn't realize we'd booked a ground-level room, and preferred the room on the 2nd floor since it felt more private (we requested to be moved for the 2nd and 3rd night and Reb kindly accomodated us). The rooftop patio is a great place to sit and watch the birds. The breakfasts were delicious, and the wifi worked well in our room. Highly recommended place to stay while in Marrakesh!

Arriving at the Riad was like arriving to paradise. Ahmed (nightguard) welcomed us in, prepared fresh mint tea for us - best moroccan tea we had. It all felt really welcoming and genuine from the start. The next morning we met Matteo (the owner). Lovely guy who is really down to earth and welcoming. We had booked 2 nights and were able to book another 3 nights on the spot - this was pure luck as this Riad is always fully booked. We were fortunate enough to experience 3 out of the 4 HUGE rooms this Riad offers. If you can afford it, make sure to book the biggest room - it's more like an appartment as in total it is probably 60 square meters of ample space with amazing carved ceiling from the 1600s, a huge bathroom with a stone bathtub and 2 extra rooms if you enjoy reading/writing. Pros: - decoration - staff - amazing breakfast included - location - silence - price / value - fresh and clean - best mattresses of Morocco - very safe Cons: To be totally honest -> We have none! Matteo, Ahmed and Fatema, thank you for making us feel at home and taking care of us like family. Hope to see you soon again, Big hug from us, Pedro & Susana

Such a great place! Well appointed, comfortable, and a peaceful haven from the bustle of downtown Marrakesh. We booked a trip with the host and got exactly asked for- a tent in the desert for 2. Many other couples had to share that night !!

I stayed at multiple riads during my time in Marrakech and this was BY FAR my favorite. It was beautiful and peaceful. I was tempted to spend all my time at the riad lol. The decor is gorgeous. Our room was quite spacious. And the location!!!! Best location. Literally a two minute walk to all the action yet you would never know it due to how quiet it is at the riad. The street leading to the riad is beautiful and old. Feels like a walk back in time. The staff. Wow! The staff was so accommodating and friendly. Reb was quick to respond to any question I had about the riad or the area. He gave recommendations for anything I was interested in. Easy airport transport was arranged in advanced and Reb helped me book my Sahara Desert Tour. He helped me remain stress free. I highly recommend this riad to anyone interested in staying in Marrakech. Worth every penny. Thank you.

Reb's place is extraordinary. It's a 5 minute walk from the center square but once you walk through the door into the courtyard of the riad it's a quiet and peaceful refuge. He was also available to help and was extremely accommodating. The excursions and tours he offers were the highlight of our trip. I could not recommend him more.

Riad Bamileke is a beautiful place to stay a few steps from Jemaa el Fna. I really have no complaints. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time. The riad and our suite were beautiful. The included breakfast was delicious. Everyone working at the riad was very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.
