  Cindy was a very supportive and professional host. As soon as I completed the booking she got in touch with me to organise my stay at her apartment. The flat is simple but very clean, tidy and nice - it was exactly what we were looking for. A big advantage is also the metro station close by. It is a two min walk to catch subway 1 downtown - I highly recommend staying at hers!

  Cindy's place is the best! As promised everything was clean, in order and private. Cindy was extremely courteous and her attitude was awesome considering I arrived at 5AM! I will definetely stay at Cindy's again and highly recommend her pad . There was a cleaning fee that some believed was high, but seriously people, as a native New Yorker, do you really think you're going to stay for a weekend in New York City for anywhere under $250? Unless it's with family, I don't think so.

  Staying at Cindys Place was a very good decision. We very much enjoyed our time there. It is not expensive even though the cleaning fee is quite high. The check-in and out times were very flexible because Cindys assistant lives in the same building. The metro is 2 minutes walking distance and it takes about 20 minutes to go downtown. I would stay there again.

  Perfekt experience to stay in Cindy apartment. Peaple around wery friendly, nice clean and so close to subway not even 3 min. Cindy was taking care before and during my stay in NY . Wifi connection was for me very important and happy with roommate we got a lot of fun about our experience in NYC. I can fully recommend Cindy's apartment. Whenever I'll be stay in New York am gonna use this apartment again .

  The appartment was nice and clean and had everything we needed. It was a bit outside from downtown manhattan, but with the subway you are at times square in 30 minutes. Cindy was very nice and kept in contact. Be aware that there is a 60 dollar cleaning fee, which is a little much if you ask me, because the cleaning lady only came once while our 3 night stay. All in all at was a good experience though and I would recommend it.

  The room was very small but clean and cozy. I had big and very comfortable bed. The apartment is nice, there you have everything you might need in kitchen, great bathroom, also there is a WiFi access and TV in your room. House is very close to subway station, just about 2-3 minutes walk. It takes about 25 minutes subway ride to get to Times square and about 2 hours to JFK by subway and transfer to LIRR train.

  I enjoyed my stay at Cindy’s place. She was awesome, she keep in contact with me before and during my stay to make sure everything was ok and to answer any questions I had. The apt was clean and had lots of space. The apt isn’t walking distance to Times Square or any of those areas but the #1 train is just down the street and it made it easy for us to get anywhere we wanted in NY (I recommend buying the unlimited subway pass). I took the red eye in and arrived at 5am and Cindy allowed my group and I to leave our bags with her neighbor until the room was ready which was good. We didn’t want to walk around NY with our luggage until the room was ready. During my stay I felt safe and felt like a true New Yorker My only complaint would probably be the sheets they were a bit hard and itchy but I think it was because they were brand new. Besides that everything was great. I recommend staying at Cindy’s place. My group and I had a great NYC trip and wouldn't change anything. Thanks Cindy!!

  For the first time we booked our accommodation with Airbnb. We were very excited about our trip and how the apartment would be. Our host Cindy provided us in advance with all important information and directions from the airport to the apartment. When we got there we were let in by Cindy's  housekeeper who showed us around the accommodation.We found everything as described on the internet.The apartment was clean,TV in every bedroom plus free Wifi access . We found the neighborhood quiet and save , subway was right on the corner , supermarket and several other stores nearby. Altogether we had a perfect time in the city and Cindy's apartment made us feel like at home. I can highly recommend Cindy as a host and would book her apartment anytime again.

  Nice and clean apartment. Near to train stations that can take you to many places. Cultural neighborhood but it is safe. The host was very helpful so ask if you need any assistance or request during your stay.

  Great spot in Hamilton Heights/Harlem. Just down the block from the 1 station, and about 3-4 blocks west of the other subway lines. Apartment was clean, comfortable, and though we didn't cook much the kitchen had most of what was needed (sans toaster). We stayed in the middle room, good for a couple without tons of luggage. Cindy was nice enough to provide an iron when asked. Felt safe even walking home late at night. Sylvia's is about a half hour walk or 10 min cab ride away, best soul food! :)

  My stay here was very good. The apartment is very close to the number 1 subway and if you switch to the express 2 on 96st street, you can get anywhere in town very fast. Note: Once you're buzzed in, you need to go through the two first doors, go right, then through two more doors and then take the stairs, NOT the stairs that you get to by going through the first two doors, walking straight to the end of the hall and turning left! The apartment is on the 4th floor with no elevator, which, with my two suitcases was a challenge, but it is well worth it once you're inside. Cindy is a very accommodating person who (after getting me a glass of cold water to help me recover from the stairs) was very welcoming and had a lot of good advice on, not only the apartment and the neighborhood, but also on other things to do in NYC and on where to find random stores, stuff and things. She was very flexible with check-in and check-out times, which was awesome! The apartment itself is excellent. Literally exactly like the pictures and very clean. The cleaning fee of US60, was a little high, but then again, the apartment is very clean. There is one of those cool dispenser things with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and there was toothpaste available, along with two towels and a wash cloth thingy. The kitchen is very nice, with a fridge, microwave and a complete stove and oven for those who would feel the need to cook. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit and highly recommend Cindy's apartment!

  Room was just as described, very clean. Bathroom was very clean as well. Great location, neighborhood. Cindy was extremely hospitable and friendly and my friend/I would definitely stay there again ^__^

  I stayed at Cindy's apt for 5 days. First of all, the location is good, only 5 minutes walking distance to Line 1 station at Broadway/145 St. Secondly, Wifi connection is good as well. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were provided free but only one towel for my five-day stay. So it would be good to bring your own towel. 60 dollars cleaning fees seemed a bit much as I saw the washroom and the kitchen were cleaned up only twice when I was there - the 3rd day and the last day I checked out. Would suggest more frequent cleanings if three or five people share one washroom.

  the place was great and very clean (very important to me) there wasn't really anyone staying there when i was there.... so it was very private during my stay. the proximity to the subway is very convenient. one thing i would suggest is to confirm ALL the info. wasn't the host's fault, the site listed the wrong address and telephone number... you want to avoid that. simple fix - just ask cindy

  This was a great place to stay. Location: Top notch. It's less than a 5 minute walk to a major subway station w/ 4 different line options, which makes getting around Manhattan exceedingly easy. Using the express subway lines, it's only like 5-10 min to Times Square. The Apartment: It's represented well by the pictures. It's nice and not cramped. Importantly, it's also very clean. Tip: While soap and body wash is provided free, bring a towel. Cindy: Very accommodating. I checked in late night and out early morning and was able to do both.

  NOS ENCANTÓ EL APARTAMENTO. Esta recien reformado, muy bonito, pero sobretodo muy limpio. Tiene TODO MUY CERCA, desde un SUPERMERCADO hasta la BOCA DEL METRO. En 15 minutos estás en Manhattan. Es tal y como sale en las fotos. Cindy es encantadora, nos aconsejó sobre los sitios a donde ir, cómo llegar y GRACIAS A ELLA SUPIMOS DE LA EXISTENCIA DE TIKTS: CONSEGUIMOS ENTRADAS PARA MUSICALES EN BROADWAY AL 50%. Se lo recomiendo a todos, es una muy buena alternativa a los hoteles de Manhattan y mucho más económica. Translation into english: We loved the apartment. This newly renovated, very nice, but overall very clean. It has everything nearby, from a supermarket to the subway. In 15 minutes you are in Manhattan. It is as it comes in the photos. Cindy is lovely, advised us on places to go, how to get and thanks to her we found out of TIKTS: GET TICKETS FOR BROADWAY MUSICAL TO 50%. I recommend it to everyone, is a very good alternative to hotels in Manhattan and much cheaper.
