SPACIOUS 1BR HELL'S KITCHEN APT

el apartamento esta genial situado, esta limpio y Jez estaba esperandonos a pesar de que llegamos bastante retrasados. tiene todo lo que necesitas, el baño es bastante pequeño y como unico "pero" habia una jaula enorme de un animal de compañia que no aparece en las fotos. el animal no estaba, claro ;-) es un cuarto sin ascensor , a tenerlo en cuenta si llevais mucho equipaje. en conclusion recomendamos positivamente este apartamento.

10 minutes walk from Times Square makes it a good and simple solution for visiting NY. It made or week in NY pleasant and affordable. Thanks Jed.

Pour tous les voyageurs francophones, mon commentaire sera en français. Tout d'abord Jed est un hôte charmant. Son appartement est hyper bien situé dans le centre même de Manhattan ( ideal pour tous les petits restos et déli's - amish deli est particulierement sympa ) pour nous les français : on dirait au 3ème étage ( et non pas 4!! Ça compte après des journées de marche ..)tous les commentaires précédents sont bien sûr à lire pour avoir une idée juste. Le principal est qu'on s'y sent bien, qu'on s'y repose bien, et c'est le cas.Merci à Jed pour le nécessaire indispensable et pénible à transporter (ou qu'on ne peut acheter en grande quantité) : lessive, savon, shampoing... Et la bière dans le frigo pour l'arrivee!..Si on revenait à New York... Sûr on demanderait d'abord à Jed!..

We had a lovely time at Jed's place. He was there to let me in exactly when agreed and checking out was easy as well. The place was clean, tidy and had everything we needed and more. The bed especially was very comfortable! The location is ideal, just far enough from Times Square that you weren't constantly caught up in throngs of tourists, but close enough that everything was easily accessible.

We had a great time in Jed's apartment. Well located, 5-10 min. walk from every subway line, Broadway and Central Park. While the place itself is compact, it had everything we needed (me and my gf). Although we didn't meet with Jed, he was available by e-mail within couple of minutes. Highly recommended for the limited budget visitor.

Great Location!!! We loved how close we were to everything, apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to stay near attractions without feeling like they were in high "touristy" areas.

The apartment was great - clean and with a great location, just as described. Jed even helped us carry our suitcases up the stairs and was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again in the future!

This apartment is in a really fantastic location, close to a lot of cool midtown stuff, but more importantly right near 9th Ave. 9th Ave in this area is a hotbed of great, reasonably priced restaurants that we didn't come close to exhausting in 3 weeks of staying there. Every time we went for a walk (multiple times a day), we'd find something that we'd overlooked before. I can't recommend it highly enough for visitors and NYC residents alike. It seemed like it was close enough to Times Square to attract the adventurous (relatively few in number it seemed), while far enough to avoid the worst of the tourist crowd. And there were always so many college age people in the neighborhood that it was clearly thriving. All of this thriving makes for a noisy environment, and the apartment faces the street, so earplugs were in order until we acclimated. Be advised. The apartment itself was just what we needed, and Jed really did a nice job of providing amenities to make our stay easier. The linens are high quality, the bed is comfortable (even though the bedroom has more light than we are used to, we acclimated), the kitchen had all we needed for our simple breakfasts (our only meal at home), there is an electric kettle for us tea drinkers, dish soap and new sponge, pleasant art on the walls, etc. etc. The bathroom is typical for this type of building: balancing and careful movement are required. It was functional. There is plenty of closet and drawer space, and nice flat surfaces to keep suitcases upon. Jed himself is immediately responsive, from before the booking, during the anticipation of the stay, upon arrival, and during the stay. He truly could not have been more pleasant to deal with. Any communication was responded to within the hour, if not in a few minutes. We had a wonderful time here for three weeks, and would stay here or work with Jed again in a heartbeat. I hope we have another opportunity.

We truly enjoyed staying here as it's actually a spacious New York apartment conveniently located to everything. The bed is super comfortable, too. The bathroom is small, as others have said, but totally fine. Only drawback is that it's a fourth floor walk up, so pack accordingly. Jed was truly lovely and responsive. I highly recommend the place and his hospitality. We will definitely book again.

Great location, close to all broadway theaters and Times Square. I Had an awesome experience of feeling myself a real New Yorker. Spacious and fully equipped appartment.

Jed was a wonderful host. His place is very conveniently located in Hells Kitchen. There is plenty of access to cool restaurants, theaters, clubs, etc. The nice part about his place is that it also feels like a neighborhood with local businesses and shops. The place was very home like and inviting. Even though it is near a busy street, it is quiet at night. He keeps it very tidy with plenty of amenities. f you are lucky, you will get to meet his dog Rose - she's sweet. It feels like my home away from home.
