The cottage is the most delightful and comfortable abode. Cosy with lovely country views with lovely light and a serene atmosphere. Nice to be on a working farm, to help out and be appreciated. Charming hosts - friendly, helpful and not in your face! Grand!

Great host, lovely cottage in a very beautiful area of Ireland. Was exactly as described. Gilly was a wonderful host, and the meals she cooked for us were outstanding. They even gave us a tour of their garden and our son enjoyed meeting their hens and dogs. Very short walk down to the sea. Relaxing and beautiful. We were sad to leave!

Don't hesitate. Book Dunworley cottage! The cottage is cozy, comfortable and well-appointed. But the truly spectacular part of this experience is outside the doors. Dunworley Beach is a moment's walk down the drive and is simply magnificent! Gilly recommended a walk on Seven Heads by the old ring fort, a WW1 lookout and medieval tower along the cliffs and cow pastures. It was the most magical, spectacular walk of my life! Finally, do not miss having at least one dinner provided by Gilly and Richard. Wonderfully fresh veggies straight from the garden accompanied by local fare all beautifully prepared from start to finish and served in the cottage. Laid back. Welcoming. Comfortable. Fantastic!

Gilly and Richards place is beautiful! It is an authentic Irish cottage. We had a family of five and loved it. We loved the family dog that came to visit also. It had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in county Cork.

Beyond my hopes and expectation! We felt welcomed into a safe haven: gardens are bowers, paths are passions, and casual is chic. The Cottage was spacious, clean, artful, creative, and comforting. After strolls to the magnificent West Cork coastal waters and beaches (all within walking distances), returning after sunset, we enjoyed Trivial Pursuit and conversation. We felt so at home among the books: from fairy tales to German philosophy. Sustainable farming, eco lifestyle, and long-time commitment coupled with exceptional hosting inspire me (and my family) to live our values consciously. Gilly & Richard have created a genuine *experience* grounded in the West Cork seascape and rural, natural rhythms. Truly a gift for us!

I have a small garden in West Cork which I farm organically. I have two cottages on the land which I rent out.
