Interaction with guests
Please consider us to be your friendly next door neighbours in Paris, and we are more than happy to visit with you if you knock on our door. Otherwise, once we get you checked in and familiarised with the features of the flat, we'll leave you to enjoy your stay in Paris.
The studio is centrally located in the 9th Arrondissement, a short walk to Opera, Les Grands Magasins and central to many of the most famous Parisian sites (Louvre, Tulleries, Place Concorde, Montmartre). There are many local restaurants and shops, as well as three supermarkets within 50 meters of the building. In the past few years a number of great restaurants have opened in the neighbourhood, including an outstanding wine bar on the ground floor of the building.
You will be staying within a short walk to six different metro lines, so all of Paris is at your doorstep. The flat is a 3 minute walk to metro Grands Boulevards (line 8 & 9) and a short walk to lines 7, 3, 4, and 12. Gare du Nord is a 20 minute walk away, or can be reached by several bus lines nearby. We advise that you purchase a "carnet" (pack of 10) metro tickets when you arrive or get a weekly metro pass (Navigo) for longer stays.
Other things to note
The flat is on the 6th floor, but thankfully there is an elevator - a very cosy elevator. If you arrive with large suitcases, you may need to make two trips.
The apartment is only available for rent for five nights or more. Guests are expected to leave the flat clean and report any damage or problems immediately. No more than two adults and two children may stay the night. Additional guests beyond this number are not permitted.
This is a non smoking apartment, however smoking is permitted on the outdoor balconies. If there is evidence of indoor smoking upon checkout, a full cleaning charge of 150 euros will be taken from the deposit.

Please keep us informed of your expected arrival time so we can be sure to have the apartment ready for your stay and that we can greet you with the keys and to help you get settled in.
Any missing or damaged items will be charged at the replacement cost out of the deposit. It is highly discouraged to entertain more than two additional guests. You are responsible for the behavior and any damage caused by your guests while they are in the building.
