Jane's Place Montana ~ Flathead Lake is located on two gently sloping acres on the shores of Flathead Lake in Northwestern Montana. The home overlooks Flathead Lake and the famous Flathead Cherry orchards. We have our own 'private' beach, a short walk down through the orchard, with a 50' wooden dock and concrete boat ramp, open for your use. There is a 35' SeaRay cabin crusier outfitted for lake fishing. It is often availiable for hire, please call ahead for openings. We also have a lake kayak that is here for your use, free of charge.The beach is of the small rocky type about 75' long. Beach chairs, loungers and water toys are available for your enjoyment. (Camp fires on the beach are allowed at some times of the year).
Jane's Place is comfortable and set up with the basics, and then some. The kitchen is simple and clean. It comes fully equipped with cookware, dishes, glassware, stemware, plenty of silverware, cooking utensiles and more, just ask!! We also provide basic spices, fresh coffee beans, a grinder & tea. The stove is electric, the fridge is a new stainless GE model and there is a roll out dish-washer with a large butcher block top.
There are two smaller bedrooms upstairs. The lake view room has a new queen bed with soft cotton sheets and plenty of pillows. The second room upstairs has a new trundel bed that pulls out and can sleep two, a great room for the kids. This bedroom contains one of the 3 full bathrooms in our home. You will find the master bedroom, with the most wonderful king size bed on the planet, downstairs as well as one of the three bathrooms and another sleeping area. The master opens out to the lower deck and hot tub. The living room has one queen pull out sleeper sofa and a queen bed lounge area that can be made into a bed. There is also another 'regular' sofa (leather) that a person could sleep on. We also have a queen airbed that is available. There are 3 bathrooms total. One with a shower off the master, one with a shower in the trundel room and a main bathroom with shower and tub on the main floor. The front deck off the kitchen has a large charcoal BBQ/smoker, and brickettes are provided. All bedding and towels are provided.
Pricing: May 2012 $300.00 a night/ 2 night min. High Season ~ June 1 - Sept 2 ~ $2600/wk/ $400~ night ~ April 16 - June 1 ~ $1200-$1700 week/from $210 a night. Montana %7 lodging tax NOT included. $500 returnable damage deposit. Our listing states we can accomodate up to 12 people, but with some creative sleeping arrangements we can have up to 15 guests here. $100 Cancellation Charge : No refunds less than 30 days prior to check in. This price DOES NOT include Montana's 7% lodging tax. Linens & towels and use of the laundry are provided however we ask that you bring your own beach towels.
During the summer we stay in a small cabin on the lower part of the property, out of sight of the house but close enough to help you with anything you might need.
PETS: Adult, non-shedding altered dogs are welcome at Jane's Place. They MUST be pre-approved ie; current vaccination records MUST be faxed prior to confirmation of reservation, there is a $200.00 returnable deposit for each dog, 2 dog limit and a fee of $150 per dog/week. Dog dishes & beds are availiable, just ask. Milk bones are always on hand!
** At this point in time, May 2012, we do not have a fenced yard.
