This little cottage is located in a quiet and secluded area, ideal for those who like to walk or cycle. There is everything you need in the cottage for a relaxing break. The hosts, Anthony & Olive, were very helpful and left details of places to visit, taxi numbers etc. Olive's homemade brown bread went down a treat!

We couldn't have asked for a better stay. The cottage is comfortable, and the perfect location to explore the area. If we had a longer time in Ireland, we wouldn't have hesitated to stay longer! Thank you for everything!

Anthony and Olives cottage is ideal if you are looking to escape to the country. It's a great base to explore Donegal by cliff walking, beach activities and coastal drives. Anthony and Olive were very accommodating when we had to change our booking last minute, they greeted us warmly between being very friendly, having the stove fire roaring and Olives famous brown bread we felt right at home. The cottage itself has everything you could possibly need apart from a TV & Wifi which just adds to the sense of escaping! Wifi and TV is available in the main house in a study which is available for guests to use. A special call out on the bed, I've stayed in some 5 star hotels that didn't have as comfortable bed as what's in the cottage! We hope to be back.

I would recommend Anthony and Olive to everyone who wants to enjoy the rural countryside of Ireland, with a lively center (Ballyshannon) only a few minutes driving away.

As hosts Anthony and Olive were second to none. We thoroughly enjoyed Olive's wonderful brown bread, and we were delighted with the provisions so thoughtfully provided for us on our arrival. The stove fires, lit by Anthony, made the cottage feel so warm and welcoming. It was the perfect location for us to attend the Ballyshannon Drama Festival for the nine day duration. We highly recommend Anthony and Olive as hosts, and their beautiful hideaway as an ideal holiday venue.
