~ Beautiful one bedroom apartment located on the first floor can sleep up to 4 guests. A cozy bed is in the bedroom, and there's a fold-out couch in the living room.
~ This spacious apartment has a living room, bathroom, bedroom and big hallways. The living room has a kitchenette, with fridge/freezer, coffee-maker, microwave, and toaster oven. The bedroom and living room have 13-foot ceilings. Laundry-service is available upon request.
~ Please inquire about booking at least 24 hours before you plan on staying here.
~ The house is located near Dudley Sq., in a historically zoned neighborhood. Dudley Sq. is a major transportation hub, which has the Silver Line and several major buslines. The buses travel to every corner of the city. It's less than a ten-minute walk to Dudley Sq., down two main streets. This summer, I hosted three female guests from Montreal, who told me the public transportation is terrific, the walk to the public transportation depot was easy, and that my neighbors are extremely friendly. I agreed.
~ The highway (93) and the Mass Pike (90) are a short drive away. About a 15-minute walk or quick drive gets you to South Bay shopping center, where there is a Stop n Shop, large Asian grocery store, Target, Home Depot, Marshalls, Office Max, Best Buy and Old Navy. There are also neighborhood shops for more convenient, everyday shopping.
~ The unique features of this apartment include Victorian decorative details and high ceilings. The neighborhood is residential, meaning not a transient and/or college student area. This makes for a more pleasant and respectful atmosphere. The majority of residents own their property. There's a great cafe located nearby, ideal for relaxing or having a business meeting.
~ The very last photo amoungst the pix is the historic Shirley-Eustis house. Here is a discription: Royal Governor William Shirley's Georgian mansion is the only remaining country house in America built by a British Royal Colonial Governor. This imposing design is attributed to Peter Harrison, "America's first architect."
~ Great location for anyone who needs to easily get to the South End, Back Bay, Downtown, Hynes Convention Center, Boston Convention Center, BU Medical Center (BUMC), Northeastern University (NU), Mass Art, Wentworth, Museum School of Fine Arts, Longwood Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, UMass, or the Airport.
~ There is an informational booklet provided with info on places to go, places to eat, along with maps and public transportation schedules.
