About this listing

Please notice:
- Our two rooms are in our appartment on the 4th floor with NO access to lift/elevator.
- We rent it out for maximum 7 nights.

The house is old, so you can expect a lot of atmosphere, rather than modern facilities.

The space

Our Bed & Bath is located in our big appartment - in an OLD charming house - in walking distance - less than 10 minutes - to the Central Station and many of the great sights of Copenhagen.

Please notice!: The room is on the fourth floor without lift/elevator.

The trip from the airport to the Central Station takes 12 minutes with very frequent service, 6-10 trains per hour.

The room is little and cosy, but satisfies all the needs - first of all with a very good bed - of a busy traveller, who spends the days with meetings, conferences, sightseeing etc.

There are separate, shared, toilet and bath room.

You can use the kitchen to preparing breakfast and small meals, and you can keep food in the fridge. But we can also recommend a lot of good opportunities for breakfast, lunch and dinners in cafés and restaurants just around the corner.

We have run this Bed & Bath during 15 years and met a lot of nice and friendly people from all over the world, and many of them fortunately come back more times.

Guest access

Besides access to your room, you will have shared access to the bathroom, toilet, kitchen and balcony with the guest(s) from the other guestroom and the family.

You can prepare breakfast in the kitchen, and are supposed to have it in your room, as the dining room is primarily used by us.

Interaction with guests

I, my husband or children, will hand you the key and show you the apartment, when you arrive. Some of us are around most of the time, when not going to jobs, school etc, and can help you to explore the city and answer any kind of questions during your stay.

We - the family, including our two children (16 and 18) - are busy with school and jobs, but love to help our guests with information and tips about how to get a wonderful stay in Copenhagen.

Bente was welcoming and helpful, as were her son and daughter. I didn't meet Erik. The room was simple and comfortable (including the bed), just how I like it. And a lovely view of the lake from my window. The house had a homely relaxed feel. The location was great, a few mins walk from metro. The room is not very sound proof, so you can hear TV etc from the room next door, but the family were respectful and, without me having to ask, made sure there was no noise after 11pm, so I was very happy and enjoyed a good night's sleep. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to my friends. If it is available for my next trip, I plan to book my next stay in December.

This is the front room on the 4th floor of a 19th century building within walking (or cycling) distance of the centre of Copenhagen. The family are friendly and very good at making their guests at ease.

The apartment is located on the 5F, a bit high for traveler with heavy luggages. Other than that, it is comfortable to stay here.

Although I didn't meet Bente, her husband Eric was an excellent host. Was able to meet at short notice and accommodate me quickly. The room was great, with an excellent view of the lakes and a very comfortable bed. The apartment was really nice as it was in a great location and had a very warm and authentic feeling to it. The rest of the family was also very nice! I would definitely stay with Eric and his family again!

Indeed what a great view! In Copenhagen for a conference. All hotels packed so had to resort to AirBnB for the first time in Danemark. So the value for money was very advantageous compared to outrageously priced remaining hotel rooms. Received all the necessary information before arrival plus advise on where to go swimming. Was hoping to get to know a bit more about Danes. But this family is very busy and I did not get to see them often. Were very helpful and reactive however. Very good location with frequent public transports and near the trendy meat packing district. The room is nice and there is indeed a vintage atmosphere to the house and apartment. Ear plugs and eye masks recommended for light sleepers.

Great room in a beautifully characteristic apartment. Clean and quiet room with nice views. Very friendly and attentive hosts (the entire family), and even though you live in their apartment, you have privacy.

I am a young woman, in the middle of the fifties. I am hosting this Bed'n Bath together with my husband, Erik. And we love to welcome people from all over the world in our own home!

When I'm not working - as a social educator - I am playing with my children (15 and 17), and my husband!, reading books, baking, knitting, travelling.
We, and especially my husband Erik, are very engaged in the development of our lovely city, Copenhagen, and will with great pleasure inform you about historical and modern sights, restaurants and concert venues in and around Copenhagen.
We both come from the countryside (Jutland), but are now "city-people", outgoing, happy and love good company. When we go on vacation, we prefer "culture cities" like Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Belgrade, Bologna, Barcelona etc.
And love our bikes as any other person from Copenhagen.
