Metro DC Apt Home - 1Bdrm & Office

I did not get to meet Janice, but she was easily contacted via phone, and was very helpful with us checking in. Her apartment was beautiful, clean and safe. The metro station was less than 10 min walk away, and there is a cvs pharmacy nearby, so it was in a convenient location. Definitely will stay here again :)

You would be lucky if you got a host as kind and attentive as Janice. Her place was also all she said it would be and surpassed my expectations. I really had a fantastic experience with a great host and apartment in a location that's an easy walk to daily needs like food and metro transport.

Janice has a beautiful apartment. I had the pleasure of staying there for a weekend. It’s very spacious, organized and warm. My favorite part of the apartment is the large veranda; it’s perfect for entertaining.

Janice is an outstanding individual. She is well-mannered, a good communicator and has a very welcoming demeanor. She is very professional and smart. Janice has experience with traveling and renting out her home and will make a great guest at your home. I highly recommend her for a stay!

Janice and I have been friends for over ten years. I decided to visit D.C in October 2011 for an extended weekend. My trip goals were to: hang out with Janice, witness the MLK memorial commemoration ceremony, checkout the Smithsonian Museums, and experience some nightlife. Thankfully, Janice has a comfy duplex space in Tacoma Park, (D.C. area) Maryland. I was quite happy to crash in her extra room that is equipped with converted futon and other amenities. I also enjoyed relaxing on the patio adjacent to the room that overlooks the quiet neighborhood. Not only a good host at home, Janice is also a helpful guide to the city and use of the Metro transit system. Conveniently, Janice's pad is only 1/4 mile to the Metro station. This made traveling to and from the airport or various DC points of interest very easy. Janice, is a traveller herself, so is a culturally aware, open minded, and respectful travel host. If it's privacy you seek, this is easily accommodating since she is very busy with school and work. But if you require some guidance and tips for your stay, she has a lot of information (or knows where to find information) about different districts/areas/flavors of DC.
