6 min to La Guardia & 6 stops city

Dido was the perfect host! She was so kind and very helpful in any matters. Our room and the entire appartment was tidy, clean and comfortable. The appartment itself was located in a nice calm part in queens. The next subway station was in a distance like 5 min by foot. From that station it was very easy and quick to get to manhattan. Also jfk airport was easy to reach. Summarized we can say it was the perfect stay for us and i can just recommd it to everybody. DEUTSCH: Eine sehr saubere und gemütliche Wohnung in Queens. Die Gastgeberin Dido ist sehr fürsorglich und sehr um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bedacht. Von der Wohnung, die in ruhiger angenehmer Lage ist, kommt man in 5 min zur nächsten U-Bahn-Station. Von dort aus ist man ruckizucki in Manhatten, zb. auf am süd-ost-zipfel des central parks, wo wir in der regel ausgestiegen sind.. Auch zum JFK-Airport gelangt man ganz unproblematisch. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert für jeden dem es einfach um eine angehme, unproblematische Unterkunft geht. Thank you so much Marcel & Ulf

My parents' second stay at Dido's apt. Still love it!! Hard to take them out of the Tempur Pedic bed ! ;-) The compound is so great and close to Manhattan: Birds singing in the property garden, magnificent old trees, flowers, ... Perfect!!

This apartment is very cosy and you feel very welcome and like at home! The residence is full of magnificent trees and you can ear the birds singing to slowly wake you up in the morning! It is located only few minutes away from subway; only few minutes to Manhattan and close to all convenience stores! Dido is very friendly and kind and it was a real pleasure to meet her! She left us the apartment with food, cereals and even candies! She is a very sweet host !! THE BED: a Tempur-Pedic bed which is a DREAM to sleep in! It made our vacation !! :-)

Dido is such a very nice host. Yes, very. Really attends to your needs and requests. Her place is super nice, clean, well organize, very comfortable to stay. When i have a chance to go to NY again, I'll choose to stay with Dido's place. Positively.

Dido is a great host, and was incredibly welcoming and helpful during our stay. The apartment is neat and cosy, with a lovely kitchen that was well stocked with an awesome assortment of tea, as well as the basics like eggs, milk, bread, cereals, and candy upon arrival. :) The neighbourhood is safe and user friendly, with many things within walking distance. I didn't have a problem exploring the surrounding blocks without really knowing where I was going, at most times of day and night. Try The Queen's Kickshaw for great coffee a few blocks away, and Five Napkin Burger a couple of subway stops away! I really enjoyed my stay here, and only wish it could have been for longer. This has been my first Airbnb experience, and I love how it feels more like a home away from home than your typical hotel stay.

Es war mal wieder ein 5 Sterne plus Aufenthalt bei Dido. Alles easy und entspannt wie im Oktober. Sie hat immer sensationelle NY Tips und Geheimtips auf Lager. Wir waren in einem der angesagtesten Restaurants mit ihr, dann in Soho Pizza essen und die Sonne geniessen. Dido ist super hilfsbereit u d einfach nur eine grossartige Gastgeberin. Ich freue mich schon auf den Sommer bei ihr :-) . Das Appartment ist super sauber, wir haben uns auch dieses mal wie zu Hause gefühlt. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Auch der Weg bis Manhattan dauert von der Haustür bis zur Lexington - Bloomingdales :-) - ca. 20 min.

Dido was a fantastic host in all ways -- her apartment was beautiful, clean, and very conveniently located in the city. We mainly communicated via email due to the nature of our schedules, but in every single instance Dido was prompt and wonderfully helpful. I'd tell her where we were going, and would not only get a quick reply with specific directions, but also detailed information about nearby points of interest. Wow! When I come back to the city, I fully intend on staying with Dido again. Definitely the best experience I've had! Thanks Dido!

Staying with Dido was my first experience with Airbnb and I must say I am very impressed. She was very accomodating, knowledable about the city, hospitable and just plain nice. She made time to make me feel welcomed inspite of her busy time at work. Her accomodations were just as pictured. She even made me breakfast one day and it was delicious. It was rainy and cold upon my arrival and she made me lentil soup which was delicious. This is a great place to stay thats pretty close to a subway station to Manhattan. Anytime Im in the New York area, this is where I will stay.
