This is a beautiful apartment at a very nice Street at Staten Island within a few blocks away from famous commercial stores, restaurants, movies, zoo, banks, shopping malls, car rental, beaches not that far away and much more. If you drive, there is free street parking space and public transportation in case you do not bring your vehicle or rent one.
The apartment is located on the lower level of a two family house and has its own private entrance. It is well decorated and has a beautiful one bedroom with a dresser/chest, full size bed that accommodates 2 people and in the living room you will find a full size futon where 2 people (Children preferred) can sleep comfortably and can be converted in a sofa during the day time and of course children are welcome. The apartment has an average size closet, full bathroom with tub, small dining table with stools, two chairs, TV with basic channels and internet access, in addition, a refrigerator, full size stove, microwave oven, coffee maker and an entire equipped kitchen with pots, pans, plates, glasses and more, but of course, you may preferred to eat out, after all YOU ARE ON VACATION.
Guests are smart and typically self-sufficient who are able to configure things by themselves but to make your stay more enjoyable, host will provide you with a do it yourself start kit breakfast for the first morning which may include coffee, tea, bagels and other amenities. Host will also provide you coffee and tea for up to one week stay and a phone number for any possible assistance or emergency you may need or experience with the apartment or during your stay at Morningstar Road, S.I. Brochures and various NYC attractions literature will be in the apartment to assist you with your search of points of interests and how to get there without delays.
The apartment you want is located in the area of Marine's Harbor and it is about 20 to 30 minutes in a Metro Bus ride (for only $2.25 each way and a one free transfer to subways/train or buses) or 10 minutes driving to the Ferry (paid parking at Ferry terminal is available for about $8.00 entire day). The buses run very often this route, so the waiting is minimal. Yes, just a 20 to 30 minutes ride in public transportation to the Staten Island Ferry which will take you for FREE and in just 25 minute ride to and from Manhattan Borough. The Staten Island Ferry runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 Days a year (including holidays) and it gets you back and forth to The City (Manhattan). You will also get to see amazing views of the New York City Skyline and Statue of Liberty while you are crossing over. As I said, it’s Free and it is one of the best deals you will find in NYC. Once you cross over to lower Manhattan you will find the Metro (subways/trains) and buses that will take you to any attraction anywhere you want in the City of New York.
