Our experience at Victorian room was just what could be expected from the information given on line. Fine accomodation & superior welcome. We certainly recommend it. Please, read the previous as an understatement.

The room (Victorian room)is really incredible! And Stephanie is a lovely hostees who gives you a lot of advices and famous places to go!!! Near to home, we had gospel, jazz, and a lot of stores, ... it was wonderfull! You can choose this place without hesitation! ghislaine

My trip to New York started off really badly I had gone with another host from another site (don't think I can mention the name so won't)in the first instance only to get to the 'apartment' to find it did not exist...Homeless in New York (I live in London). I managed to find a hotel to stay the night ($200! I was in the Times Square area) and got on my laptop searching for a new place. Luckily for me Stephanie was up (about 2am) and responded straight away. It was so good to connect a friendly and caring person after realising I had been scammed. Stephanie took care of me and restored by faith in New York and it's people. The place was great and Stephanie is very knowledgeable about the area. I stayed at the Victorian room and it was so comfortable for me. The place was clean, well equipped with towels, tea and coffee, iron and board, TV, DVD player and cable. Stephanie is a FANTASTIC host and a truly honest person. If you are looking for a nice and classy place to stay with a honest person who is professional and dedicated to giving you a quality experience STEPHANIE IS YOUR LADY. I will definitely be staying with Stephanie in the future and recommending her to ALL of my friends travelling to New York. If in doubt...Just pick Stephanie!

Stephanie's B&B is absolutely 5-star. She has amazingly and artistically decorated places that are spotless and comfortable. Stephanie was so accommodating and kind; she had tons of great recommendations for us and was nice enough to upgrade us to the master suite due to other circumstances for free. She went above and beyond in everything! Her spaces are fantastic, clean, beautiful and comfortable. It was a lovely experience all around. We will definitely be coming back to stay with Stephanie.

Stephanie's house is beautiful!We stayed in the Victorian room for 3 nights and loved it. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is nice and big and there's a garden where you can have your breakfast if the weather's nice (there are lots of food stores around where you can get bagels and stuff, and Stephanie kindly provides tea and coffee). Stephanie is a lovely person, happy to answer questions and give her guests tips about where to go and what to do. Will definitely be back!

Stephanie is a really great host, she deserves the best rating ! The place is nice and clean, very well furnished with a lot of amenities, very well connected (step away from the subway). I'll suggest Stephanie's place to all my friends visiting NY and hope to came back soon. You can't ask more to enjoy your stay in NYC.

It was such a marvelous stay! Stephanie is a great host, and she provides private rooms that are beautiful, quiet, clean and fully-equiped (coffee machine, plasma screen, museum entries, jacuzzi bath). For this price, this is really an excellent opportunity for a pleasant trip in NYC. Stéphanie est française, et c'est un plus pour les francophones, puisque nous pouvons plus facilement communiquer. Elle est charmante, accueillante et très attentive au bien-être de ses clients. La chambre était superbement décorée (très Valérie Damidot ;)), dans un environnement très calme, et avec un équipement de rêve (écran plasma, machine expresso, baignoire avec jacuzzi et même des entrées pour les musées !!). Le tout est définitivement très abordable et certainement d'un excellent rapport qualité/prix.

The experience was very good. The apartment was very clean, and fully outfitted with dishware, towels, etc. Sophie, Stephanie's friend, could not have been nicer, and worked very hard to make sure everything was right, including rushing over with the blowup bed. The whole transaction was very good. Parking was available on the street saving us a lot of money and two subway lines were within easy walking distance as well as restaurants and stores. We enjoyed the stay very much.

Beautiful room...and the whirlpool tub was a great way to end the day after walking about the city... Sophie was a sweet host while Stephanie was on Holiday... Will definitely book another stay when back in The City...thankyou for a lovely stay!!!!

Stephanie was such a wonderful host! We were familiar with the NYC area but she went out of her way to make sure we knew how to get around her area in particular and had tons of suggestions for things to do and places to go. Everyone there was wonderful and she made us feel right at home. We had a great time and would consider her again when visiting New York City.

Wow..It was one of my best trip ever. My husband and I had an amazing time in Stephanie's Place. We stayed 3 days at her place. It was a super clean apartment and we had whatever we need in the apartment, like TV,Telephone,Internet,the clean towels and well equipped kitchen. I would definitely recommend the place and the Stephanie as a host. She is so nice and very helpful. Stephanie gave us a map of NYC and great tips on where to go. Thanks a lot dear Stephanie! You made our trip!

The place itself was beautiful. Lots of light. Very comfortable. There were 3 of us and we loved it. All the amenities were there, lots of extra pillows and blankets. We ran info a lot of problems with the internet not connecting but if you are not there for work thats not a big trade-off for the great space you get. There are 3 subways in walking distance but I would only recommend walking to the one on 135th st considering the fact that its the closest safest route. I would not recommend walking late at night by yourself because the area this place is around isn't the safest place in the world, although the street that Stephanie's room is on is very quiet. Overall, we recommend highly. Great for a group of friends looking for a comfortable place to stay without breaking the bank.

Stephanie was nothing but hospitable and amazing during my 2 week stay in La Maison d'Art Suite. The room is amazing and the bed is absolutely the best bed over. It was more than I ever could have imagined. Thanks again Stephanie you were amazing!

Thanks for your help! The place was lovely and much cheaper than a YMCA or other prison like setting place to stay. Very nice art, clean place, and a relaxing interior. The pizza was quite good too! See you next visit.

Everything went very smoothly and I loved staying in the Maison d'Art. Very quiet and easy to access. I would definitely book a place with Stephanie again.

Stephanie was a very courteous host. We enjoyed our stay at Central Park North, but the apartment we stayed in was not the same one as in the picture. It was very similar, but not the same. The wifi didn't work very well and the cable did not work at all. The area was a little sketchy, but this was also our first trip to NY so it took a little getting used to. Stephanie gave us lots of tips on restaurants, things to do, and getting around on the subway. The experience overall was a pretty good one.

I met Stephanie in airplane for my first travel to NY. I was his first client. Stephanie is a fine designer, the room was very clean and comfortable. Stephanie takes great pride in her apartment. You can tell by the fabulous decor and the cleanliness of the place. Besides being very warm and friendly, she makes you feel very welcome. A great home away from home!!!

She gave me all guarantees I asked before the trip, she gave good advice about places to see or things to do, her room saved me a lot of money compared to a hotel but without giving up on quality and cleanliness (there's a washing machine !). And being 1 block away from Central Park or the subway is just so nice. Sure that was one of the best part of my trip in NYC !

I'll recommend someone to stay with Stephanie because she is outgoing, driven and easy to get alone with. Staying with Stephanie for a day or two will make you feel like you are at home away from home because she is just that comfortable to be around.
