My wife and 2 of our friends had a great stay at Dar El Hana. The location was wonderful, right inside the Medina. Close to everything that you should experience during your stay in Fes. The manager Simo was very attentive and made himself available whenever we needed him. He made us breakfast in the morning at a time that we specified, he helped us to book trips and transfers, and even cooked us a lovely dinner on our last night. The property itself is quite large and has a beautiful terrace that overlooks the Medina. It got a little chilly sometimes but there were heaters in the common areas as well as the bedrooms. The duvet covers were also quite substantial and kept us very warm during the night. Thanks Josephine and Simo for being part of our trip to Fes.

Josephine's Dar al Hana was awesome, a true gem, and right in the heart of the Medina. Really enjoyed the room, and the hosts were very very helpful and welcoming. The room was noisy in the sense that you could hear the street noise, but honestly, that was awesome. Nothing like sleeping and waking with the natural rhythms of the old city.

Absolut empfehlenswert!

"An authentic life, without regret" is my simple motto.
I feel at home in many places, and my soul needs to travel, explore and adventure. Much I can do by myself, particularly in Fes, Morocco and the UK, where I meet up with friends and family. However, in Australia, I am enormously happy to explore and adventure with Geoff, who knows this ancient land so well, and his love for it, and memory of special camp spots along the way, never ceases to amaze.
Hence, between us, we have much local knowledge to share with those who choose our houses; much understanding of basic comforts and a willingness to share our knowledge, and to meet new people and hear their stories.
I love history and architecture, different cuisines, and Geoff loves all things aboriginal, and has an enormous knowledge of the culture and art.
If we are not in our caravan, we love the freedom and space of Airbnb accommodations.
