Location, Location, Location

I did not get to meet Kim, however she was very responsive to every email that I sent her. Her apartment is clean, neat and we were able to walk to everything that we needed or wanted. We would definitely stay at Kim's again, and have already recommended her apartment to someone else.

Everything was convenient and comfortable in Kim's well appointed garden apartment. She is a gracious and thoughtful hostess. When in DC, I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

Great location! A food market and several good restaurants are within a five minute walk. Union Station and the Metro are a ten minute walk. The apartment is situated one of the safest neighborhoods in D.C. Kim has thoughtfully provided everything you might need for comfortable and convenient stay. This is an outstanding value!

Kim was a fabulous host. Her apartment is clean and fully equipped with all you could need (including the nice touches of toiletries and a folder of maps and tourist brochures on the coffee table). The location is amazing (10 min walk to Union Station and around the corner from some really nice cafes and restaurants). I would not hesitate in recommending Kim's apartment to my family and friends and if I'm ever lucky enough to be visiting DC again I would definitely like to stay here! Thanks Kim.

This place could not be more perfectly located. Kim was great and the apartment was as advertised, clean, well appointed and private. Definitely will stay here again next time I'm in DC.

We stayed there in May for couple of days with our little baby and it was great! The apartment is very big and clean; the neighborhood is nice – just few minutes walk to the capitol! We really enjoyed staying there and had a great time in Washington.

Everything was neat and very clean. Coffee was provided ans was good! Kim was available to help us with anything without being obstrusive. The location was great, just 5 minutes walk from the Capitol. There were restuarants and a convenenience store behind the block, making it easy for us as we did not have a car. We would definitely like to use the same apartment again on any future visit to DC.

We spent four nights at Kim's place and found it clean and comfortable with lots of amenities. The neighborhood was great; we enjoyed the restaurants and the proximity to Union Station and the capitol. We would love to go back!

This was my first time using Airbnb, so I was a little nervous. Still, Kim put my fears rest--she was friendly, helpful, and ultra-responsive (she answered my initial inquiry within minutes! The apartment was perfectly ready upon my arrival, complete with coffee, travel soaps, and an iPod charger. Plus, it was really homey and cute. Anyway, the only thing I wished for was more time. I'd recommend this place to anyone. On top of the apartment's amenities, it's also just up the street from the Capitol building and within walking distance if Union station, the mall, etc.

We really enjoyed staying at "Kim's Place". It was very convenient. The mattress on the bed was very comfortable. If you haven't lived in an apartment recently or are used to staying in hotels it might take a night to get used to hearing people around you, but all-in-all we would recommend it. We enjoyed having the direct tv & the fridge/freezer. The shower is nice & the bathroom amenities a plus. There is a grocery, small "diner", Subway, nice Indian restaurant, coffee shops, the Union Pub, Armand's pizzeria all within 2-3 blocks. It's about a 15-minute walk to the Metro, which is close enough. Also because it's close in a cab ride won't break your bank if you're out & don't want to mess with the train. We felt comfortable walking in the evenings & it's so close to the Capitol there are always police around. Thank you, Kim for your hospitality.
