I enjoyed my stay at the wee cottage. The cottage and grounds are rustic and eclectic, and indeed laid back. It was a very pleasant and functional alternative to the hotel scene. The location was perfect for my Austin wanderings. Quiet, safe, and peaceful.

We had a great stay at Jessica's place. It is conveniently located a few minutes from all the action on South Congress and a quick drive across the river takes you into downtown. Her place is cute, clean and on a quiet street. The only thing lacking was a good strong shower but that is a minor thing. Would stay here again - thanks Jessica!

What a great location. Jessica couldn't be nicer and her cottage is simple, quirky and pleasant. The only issue for my wife and I was that Jess's bed's a bit small. But we made do and really enjoyed the cottage.

We loved staying at the Wee Cottage during SXSW. The place is charming and located very near the SoCo area. Downtown is a quick bus ride away. Jessica is a great host, and her neighbors are all incredibly helpful as well. Would love to stay again!

I stayed at Jessica's "wee cottage" during SXSWi, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Such a sweet little space, with minimalist decor (which suits me to a T). I slept great and even had the pleasure of borrowing a bicycle to zoom around Austin. Super find indeed. Thanks, Jessica! x

We just stayed at the wee cottage and loved it! We are from Austin and wanted to stay in a space that would let us feel like home and allow us to be close to downtown and South congress area. This was the perfect spot! The cottage was intimate and cozy. We had sunny days and snowy days and the cottage was cool enough and warm enough on all days. The bed was comfortable and she provided everything we needed including letting us borrow her bike. You are in walking distance to a great coffee shop called the green muse and to torchy's tacos- some of the best tacos ever! Also in walking distance to all the shops on south congress and all the restaurants on south First street. My favorite being Polvos with great interior mexican food and where all the locals eat! I have to mention Woodlands on congress for a more upscale vibe and great food and drinks! We stayed for five nights and will definitely stay here again. Great place if you are looking for a true Austin experience! Jessica let us know in advance about any concerns and was very helpful about the type of space we would be staying in. The wee cottage was lovely. Small and cozy with a very comfortable bed and a surprisingly sturdy hammock. We walked or took the bus without any hassle, plus there's a Torchy's taco shop just around the corner--you really can't beat their avocado tacos. Jessica was friendly and extremely helpful even from afar. I would definitely stay here again.

Staying at Jessica's place was a great experience. The laid back, vintage vibe was a treat, and the the neighbors around the cottage were so friendly and helpful. This was the perfect way to experience the old school flavor of South Congress.

I would recommend someone to stay at Jessica's "wee cottage" because it is in a quaint central/south Austin neighborhood and surrounded by great, laid-back folks. Jessica is simply a gem of a lady, who is open, fair, and reasonable.

This is an adorable cottage, convenient to all sorts of charming shops and restaurants. It's immaculately clean and very comfortable. While it doesn't have the amenities (or attitude!) of a 5-star hotel, the price enables people to take advantage of all the great things Austin has to offer!
