We've had so much fun hosting airbnb guests in our year round home we've decided to host in our seasonal residence too. It’s tucked in at the end of a quiet dead-end road, but our Glen Lake cottage is easily accessible to I-87, with ample services and conveniences close by. There are also ample movie theaters,many restaurants, The Great Escape amusement park and shopping outlets, [if you need that kinda thing] within 2 miles. But we think the true glory of this home lies in the open-air life of the screened sleeping and sitting porch, shaded by oaks and pines that open onto deep-water swimming not 15 feet from your 100ft of private shoreline. Walk from the cottage level patio to our 16x27' carpeted deck-over boathouse that extends out over the water for 360 degree views of the lake and mountains beyond. The more daring can open the end-gate and leap the 11ft down to clear, deep waters below.
We have 2 bedrooms available, one with a queen bed and the other a full bed. Bring your bikes and ride on the bike path to Lake George which is only 6 miles away.Don't forget your bathing suits as we enjoy the best swimming!Wake up to the sounds of birds singing and enjoy the luxurious outdoor shower while we brew the java. There's an indoor shower too but we never use it as it doesn't compare.
