  Perfect place to stay when you're a weekend (or longer) in Berlin!

  Rita's place was great! The pictures show you what you get - it's a nice, big apartment with very comfortable beds. We were very happy living here for a week - and what's great is that it's incredibly close to many delicious restaurants, shops and the U-bahn. I highly recommend it - plus Rita was a great host and very willing to help us out it any way.

  Rita's apartment was perfect. It was very clean and comfortable with all the accomodations you could ask for. Rita was there right when we arrived at the apartment to give us keys and tell us about the space. She was very kind and available by cell when we had a question. I highly reccomend staying here. It is lovely and very welcoming.

  Our stay at Rita's appartment was wonderful. The house is very clean, well-equipped and located in a lovely neighbourhood close to public transport, food markets and nice bars & restaurants.   We very much enjoyed our stay at this flat. The rooms are pretty big with very high ceilings and the apartment was clean. Check in and check out was very relaxed and easy. I was travelling with my mother and two small kids (1 and 3 years old), so I will write a little bit about what families could interest. The flat is in the first floor which is convenient when you have small kids, in the hallway there’s is plenty of space to put a stroller. It does not have any baby-bed/-equipment, but this didn't matter to us. There is a microwave to heat up the baby food and the milk bottles and there is even a washing machine (for any bigger “accidents” or longer stays, but we didn’t have to use it). The dishwasher was unfortunately out of order during our stay. The location was just perfect, as we were visiting a friend living almost next door. Also in general it is a great location: you find anything you need in the area/the Kiez, there are a lot of little nice cafés and restaurants where you can also take the food with you, so we mostly did that and ate in the apartment (all of you having kids know how much more relaxing this is compared to staying in a restaurant). There are parks and a playground close by, we especially enjoyed the inoperative Tempelhof airport to walk around. The Subway is very close, too, at “Gneisenaustrasse” there are only stairs to enter (no lift), but all the people are very helpful, so it was not really a problem to carry the strollers down to the subway. In about 20 minutes you reach the center of Berlin. The only things a little bothering us were that there is like a big hole in the living room which is the entrance to sort of a basement, where my crawling kid could have fallen down, but we could make a barrier putting the couches there, and that a socket (Steckdose)/phone plug close to ground is kind of torn out, which is very dangerous for a small kid. This was my first experience with airbnb and definitely not the last. I can highly recommend this apartment and will probably book it myself again.

  Rita's flat is great - perfect for visiting Berlin. The flat is lovely and big, with high ceilings and lots of space. Compared to UK flats it is huge! The bed is very comfortable and there is everything you could need - washing machine, full kitchen with fridge & freezer, bath & shower, storage space, etc. It is also very conveniently located to visit Berlin. Just 10 mins from a U-Bahn station, 15 minutes from Tempelhof park, and a couple of blocks from Bergmannstrasse where you'll find plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, etc. Rita is also kind enough to leave a bike and very detailed instructions on how to get to/from the flat, what to visit, etc. In the flat there is a table with all the Berlin guides you could possibly want. Highly recommended!

  Staying at Rita's place was an absolute joy. A friend and I planned a trip to Berlin to visit the Transmediale/CTM festivals 'of advanced music', and wanted a place that was comfortable, well-located, and surrounded by relaxed places to eat and socialize when we weren't attending seminars or performances. Rita's apartment was all those things and more. From the moment we chose the place from many others on offer in Berlin, it was clear we'd made the right choice. Rita was fantastically helpful, offering a really comprehensive guide to the local area (which is brimming with lovely places to eat, drink and shop), as well as simple and easy instructions on how to get there. The apartment was immaculately clean, comfortable and well-appointed, with huge airy rooms and lovely beds. It's less than ten minutes walk to a train station, with a beautiful church, indoor organic food market and bakery half that distance away. All in all, I can genuinely say that this was one of the nicest and most relaxed short European trips I have taken - and I travel fairly often! Thanks so much to Rita, and please do try her place if you're looking for somewhere in the area. I don't think you'll find better at a more reasonable price.

  Rita was the perfect host for our short stay in Berlin. The apartment was spotlessly clean and in a great location. Arrangements were made with Rita quickly and efficiently and everything was exactly as described. There are good restaurants within walking distance and a good indoor market with a wide variety of fresh food where we had breakfast most days. Very close to Tempelhoff and only 20 minutes from Potsdamer Platz. We would love to stay here again on our next visit to Berlin.
