San Diego beach vacation BR & bath

Linda & Didier were gracious hosts! The place was immaculate, and a great location. They were very informative about restaurant suggestions, etc. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Wow, what a delightful treat! We loved sitting outside around the fire at night, listening to the ocean in the distance, sampling great wine and getting to know these two fabulous people. Generous souls indeed! Our room and private bath where luxurious.

Linda et Didier sont des supers hôtes! Nous sommes restés 5 jours chez eux et ils se sont occupés de nous comme si nous étions amis de longue date... La chambre et son lit ainsi que la salla de bain sont très confortable et le petit déjeuner , chaque matin, un festin, redoutable! Et que dire de nos soirées autour du fireplace dans le beau jardin, à refaire le monde avec une bonne bouteille de von, fantastique!!. Merci Linda et Didier, vous êtes simplement géniaux!

This was our first time using Airbnb and it couldn't have been a better start. My husband and I so enjoyed our time with Linda and Didier! They were wonderful hosts and made us feel right at home. It was like we were visiting with old friends. Their home is beautiful and our accommodations were very comfortable. Their 3 adorable cats helped us not miss our kitty so much! Breakfast was marvelous - freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, organic fruit and hot croissants! Delicious! We just had one regret - and that was that we were only able to stay one night with these folks! Thanks, Linda and Didier!

This was the first time we ever stayed in someone home for our vacation. Linda and Didier gave a warm welcome. They were very friendly and helpful. They are wonderful hosts. They told us various places to see in Carlsbad. It is very useful for people who are new to the place. The beach and lagoon was very close to their house. We liked the breakfast which Didier would give during mornings ! especially fresh squeezed organic orange juice, fresh fruits and the hot croissants. We really enjoyed chatting with them. Our experience at their home was very homely and wonderful.

My Mom and I had a wonderful experience at Linda and Didier's! They were so quick to respond to emails, and very amenable to changing the reservation. They also checked in with me by email and voicemail, seeming concerned about our arrival...yet I didn't get these until late in the evening. I felt bad that I didn't communicate with them, and that they worried! Their home is beautiful, they were so gracious, and we really enjoyed chatting with them. Breakfast was delicious! We certainly recommend staying here when you are in the San Diego area.

It was a real pleasure staying at Linda & Didier's home when I was in San Diego to present my paper at the ACM SIGKDD academic conference. Both Linda and Didier were very welcoming, and Didier makes an absolutely delicious pastry spread for breakfast (be sure to try it out!). I enjoyed my stay very much and would try staying at their home again should I have the chance to visit San Diego again.

A quick stay. Wish we had more time to hang out at this beautiful, serene location. Slept like a baby!

Linda and Didier (pronounced "Dee-Dee-A") are hospitable hosts with a beautiful house and garden tucked away in a quiet neighborhood that is just far enough from the urban hustle and bustle, yet within walking distance to many amenities (pool, beach, shopping center.) If you are looking to get away from it all, I highly recommend staying with them! They provided a yummy breakfast of fresh fruit, freshly squeezed OJ, croissants and pleasant conversation! PS - Their kitties, Maggie, Rosie and Rizzo are really cute, too!

Linda is smart, savvy and sweet with a lively personality and a great sense of humor. As a professional designer she's got a great eye for detail, so her home is not only beautiful but very comfortable, with both indoor and outdoor spaces designed for utmost livability.
