Description

The space

Come and enjoy country (email hidden) in our cool and comfortable little cabin. This unit comfortably fits two people and is located on a quiet street. Walking distance to secluded pristine beaches and a short drive away from Haleiwa Town.

We converted our carport into a fully furnished cabin with a full kitchen, queen size bed and a bistro table.

It is located within our property but is completely separate from the main house with private access.

Guests have access to the yard, BBQ and laundry room. Wireless internet is included. Yard has direct view to Mount Ka'ala and some of the most awesome sunsets.

We live year around on the main house.During the weekends we sometimes have BBQ's with friends, guests are welcome to join us. We are always available to answer questions regarding site seeing, what beaches to go to and also to suggest activities.

The neighborhood consists of old plantation style houses built in the 60's for the sugar cane plantation workers. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe, filled with friendly people. As the crow flies, we are 2 blocks away from the ocean. There are a number of fairly un-crowded beaches that are at walking distance and are safe for bathing year-round. There's a number of surf spots close to the house as well.

If you are into hiking, there are a number of day long hikes that are a short driving distance away.

Historic Haleiwa town is a short 5 minute drive, there you can find restaurants and some night life as well as shops.

Oahu's public transport system is The Bus ( (website hidden)). There is a bus stop close to our house on the main road ( Waialua Beach Road). The bus offers service from our neighborhood to pretty much anywhere on the island if you are patient.

It is recommended that you rent a vehicle if you want to do some site seeing. There is plenty of parking space on our street.

We offer airport pickup/drop off depending on flight schedule and availability for US$70.00 each way.

Guests have access to the yard, BBQ and laundry room. Wireless internet is included. Yard has direct view to Mount Ka'ala and some of the most awesome sunsets.

The family of Cristian and Mahina is really friendly, welcoming and supportive. If you need anything, they would help you right away. The only thing, that we did not like, was the matter of cleaning. If, the apartment would have been cleaner, I would definitely recommend it.

Extremely adorable and relaxing spot. We were greeted by chirping birds every morning, and an amazing view of the mountains. Would highly recommend!

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. The hosts were friendly and provided us with suggestions on things to do. They offered their snorkelling gear to borrow while we visited the beaches nearby. It's about a 5 min drive into town. The place was relatively clean. Comes with a fridge, toaster oven, and range. It would've been good to have a microwave available as we had some left overs. Overall would recommend for those looking for a stay in a local residential area and within a short driving distance to town.

The time we spent there was great. We read the other posts in advance so we prepared for the "difficulty with finding the place" pulse if you (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) the address a picture of their house comes up. Like the other posts say, very comfy bed, snorkel gear and patio to enjoy were fantastic. Best part of it was that she required very little from us for clean up, even after we offered. Great place to relax and crash after a long day of adventure on the north shore! Would stay there again.

My fiancé and I loved staying here! It was our first time staying towards the north shore and it was absolutely great! Very clean and loved the beach cottage feel. They have a beautiful backyard and Mahina was so incredibly nice. Would definitely recommend this great find to anyone!
