Brasilia Studio in Dupont Circle

Great place to stay in DC! I came in to DC for a 3 day convention and while not close enough to comfortably walk (1.5 miles) to the convention center (even though I did, it was a great way to see the local neighborhoods such as U street and 14th Avenue), it's a 3 minute walk to the metro and another 3 minute walk at the convention side. Dupont Circle is a great place to stay with hundreds of restaurants and bars. The studio apartment was just what I needed. thanks!

Great location - easy access to metro, grocery. Spotless when I got in - nice! Would (and hope I can) stay here again in a minute!

This was an extremely convenient location, a couple blocks from Dupont Circle. Access to get in was simple, the host respondedd immediately when I called with a question. The apartment offered a decent kitchen, bathroom and bed. Kitchen could use a coffee maker, and you need to bring your own soap for the shower. Wifi access was great. But I am nitpicking--beats a hotel anyday for the price.

This apartment is in a great location accessible to many restaurants, cafes and bars. It is bright and airy and it's appearance is exactly as shown on the web site. The only negative for us was the absence of a TV or radio. Some nights after a big day it would have been nice to relax in front of the TV or listen to some music before sleep. Ciro was very accommodating with any concerns we had upon arrival and helped us when needed. Thanks.

This apartment was exactly what I needed--clean, full of natural light, and well-stocked with towels, kitchen gear, etc. WiFi was speedy and really convenient too. I loved the Dupont Circle neighborhood. The apartment was very well-located and only a couple of blocks to the metro and tons of yummy eating options and a few grocery stores to pick up breakfast supplies. As a single female, I felt totally safe walking the neighborhood alone, and I'd recommend this place to anyone staying in D.C. for work or pleasure. Shower was excellent--plenty of hot water and great water pressure.

Very cute place-just as it appears in pictures-clean and well appointed. The fully equipped kitchen was a nice amenity. The apartment was located in the heart of a lovely neighborhood in Dupont Circle. Dining and the metro were right around the corner. Ciro was an attentive host, ensuring that we had an easy and enjoyable stay.

I recently went to DC for the first time for a work conference. It was held at one of the big hotels, but I didn't really want to stay in the hotel, or pay hotel prices. A number of friends had told me great things about airbnb, and so it seemed like a good thing to check. I'm so glad I did! This listing caught my eye right away, and after getting in touch with Ciro we determined the timing would work for both of us and I booked my stay. One of the complicating factors for me was that I was getting in after midnight, and needed a place it was possible to check into at that time. Because of Ciro's lockbox arrangement there was no hassle with me arriving at 1am, nor with leaving a few days later before 6am. As soon as I opened the door to the studio apartment I knew I'd made the right choice. Everything looked just as it did in the pictures, and it felt very welcoming. I usually live out of my suitcase on short trips, but this place was so inviting that I actually took a few minutes to unpack everything before I went to sleep. It felt so comfortable that I wished my trip was a bit longer, I could definitely have lived there for more than a couple days. Upsides: Great neighbourhood, a 5 minute walk from the Dupont Circle Metrorail station, loads of restaurants and other neat things nearby; a kitchen with all the basic pots/pans/tableware/etc. you need; lots of space for clothes and luggage; an easy 10-15 minute commute or 20-30 minute walk to my conference at the Omni Shoreham. Downsides: No air conditioning (There's a ceiling fan, which was more than enough for my stay, but I can see that in the full DC summer heat the place might be hard to sleep in. Then again, I think it probably really depends on your own temperature preferences.); the door is a little tricky in that it sticks/doesn't always shut tight right away, just something to be aware of; it's a studio apartment, so if you're expecting a separate bedroom/livingroom that's not what you'll find, I don't even really know that that's a downside, but I wanted to be clear about it. Ciro's directions and instructions for check-in/check-out were very clear, and I got the sense that if I'd had more questions or wanted suggestions of places to go, etc. he would have happily obliged. I really enjoyed my trip, and I think living in "my" adorable studio apartment was certainly part of that. I would definitely consider staying here again should I come back to DC!

The apartment was in a great spot; nice area and easy to get to everywhere in the city as it is only a couple of blocks away from the metro station. The apartment was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Ciro is a great host and was very flexible as to our needs. We would definitely stay here again if we are in DC.

I was very happy with Ciro's apartment. It is so cute, really cosy and it had everything I needed. It was a lot bigger than I expected and I immediately felt at home the moment I walked through the door. Location - PERFECT! I was in walking distance to some great restaurants, cafes, this cute bookstore that had a cafe and a bar inside, loved it! I only wish I was able to stay longer. Ciro was very sweet, super accommodating to an extra special request I had. He was attentive and just a real sweetheart. Come and stay here, you will not regret.

About two blocks from the metro so if you looking for something in a get active spot near transportation this is the place to be. Even though it was a studio it was very spacious and clean and has everything you need for a longer stay. Check-in was incredibly easy internet was swift and able to play Netflix so I was able to live without a TV. this place is a great place.

Ciro's place is in a great location. In between the metro station and dupont circle restaurants. It's clean and has a great bed. Ciro's self check in process worked for me!

Super clean, cute and quiet apartment in a great location! We were able to walk everywhere we needed to be. and that's great, because parking around Dupont circle area is very tricky! Would definitely stay here again

Apartment was just described. Great location. Very neat, clean, and stylishly furnished. Bed was comfortable and all amenities were provided as Ciro had delineated in his listing.

The studio worked perfectly for my visit - and a refreshing change from conference hotels. It is well-decorated with just enough space, and the location can't be beat: close to Metro, bus stops, grocery, and neighborhood restaurants and bars. I would choose it again.

I had an excellent stay at Ciro’s place. The apartment is very well decorated and clean. I would certainly stay there again! A few pieces of insight which may of use to future guests: - The choice of restaurants and bars in the surrounding area was excellent. - Whole Foods was only a 10-15 minute walk away, on P Street; excellent for when you want to make use of the kitchen for basic meals. There is probably something similar even closer, if you investigate! - The area felt very safe. Even after dark people were nonchalantly walking the streets alone. - The Washington Convention Center is easily accessible via a 5-10 minute taxi ride or Metro journey from the nearby Dupont Circle station (Red line, change at Gallery PI-Chinatown). I even walked there one morning; the journey can’t have taken any longer than 20-30 mins. - For a $1 bus fare you can reach Georgetown from Dupont Circle - Ronald Reagan airport was 15-20 minutes away (depending on the time, of course), and the taxi fare was around $20

The apartment was great! Easy to get to and get in. It was in a great location and I had an amazing time. Everything was spot on, and Ciro was very communicative at the start of the trip. Thank you very much, I'm sure to be back. What a great little place! -J

Located in a handy and interesting neighbourhood. The apartment is a bit smaller than the photos suggest and the kitchen equipement is sparse.

This is a good private apartment in a great location. I messed up my reservation and Ciro went out of his way to solve the problem this created.

This space was perfect! I enjoyed having my own little place while exploring all of the sites in DC. Ciro was very easy to get a hold of and even offered assistance while I was sick during part of my trip. The bed was comfortable and I felt safe in the area. Definitely a cozy "home away from home" type of place. If I were to come back to DC I would definitely consider one of Ciro's properties again.
