It has now been a year since we started hosting on Airbnb, so I have edited this to be more precise and clear based on feedback from guests. It's a lot of information, but almost everything is answered and you should be able to make an informed decision about your stay.

Due to popular demand, we add the SECOND room in our flat.
This room is a bit smaller than our other room, but still a very decent size, with a very comfortable bed. With one of the sides being ALL windows, it is a very bright room.
Clearly the BEST thing about this flat, is the LOCATION: 3 minute walk to Westminster Palace!
This is not a walk to the tube station, or to the bus stop. There is no 25-35 minute commute to the sights. This is a WALK to the actual to Westminster Bridge Road. You can HEAR Big Ben from outside our building. You can partialy SEE the Houses of Pairlament from the flat's balcony.
It is THAT close.
The London Eye, County Hall, The London Acuarium, The Houses of Pairlament, the ferry boat station, are ALL within a 5 minute walk. Behind Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and the Horse Guards Parade. Most London Icons, within a short walk.
Why come to London and spend extra cash AND 1-2 hours per day of your holiday on the tube or bus everyday, when you can walk out and into the the sights !

My wife and I live in one of the rooms upstairs but inside your room, you have complete privacy while we remain available should you have any questions. The room you rent is private, with a lockable door. Access to a fully equiped kitchen. The bathroom is upstairs , next to this room and its shared.
We take real pride in how clean the flat is and will do every thing we can do to make your stay more enjoyable. We will be glad to give you tips, transportation advice, and all sorts of answers you could ever need. Restaurant recommendations, pub locations, you name it.
Complimentary street and tube maps and use of all tourist information we have found helpful and gathered over the time we have been here.

ALSO, be aware that the flat has TWO ROOMS that are rented by the night. They are all lockable and secure, but depending on who stays in which room, there could be as many as SIX people staying in the flat. Example, your party of two in, say your room, Two more upstairs in the second room and my wife and myself in our bedroom.
It has not been a major issue, but a former guests suggested this is pertinent information for potential guests to have when considering our flat. We agree, if this is something that might cause some discomfort, please be aware of this before booking or ask the occupancy of the other rooms for the days you are staying, we will be glad to let you know so you can make an informed desition. :)

It is important to note that the bath is shared. There is one shower room, and a separate toilet in the flat. So, the shower is free when the toilet is in use and viceversa but there is one toilet and one shower in the flat. Has not been a big deal in the past, but it's an important thing to know for some people. :)
