Private "Sky" ROOM -the best area!

I spent a great week in the "Sky" Room. It is a very small room but with a nice design and as the windwow is on the side to the courtyard it is also surprisingly quiet. The bathroom and the kitchen were as clean as my room and had everything you need. In the morning I always stepped down to the "Bread Company" (just two steps from the apartment) to grab a coffee and a muffin and there are a lot of Dehlis and restaurants nearby so nobody has to starve. The previous conversation with Elena was perfect and checking-in was very easy. Elena waited for me in the apartment as promised and she also gave me some helpful tipps. So this place is highly recommended. Thank you Elena!

We stay just one night, I slept very well and I loved the bathroom.

Elena was super-helpful with arranging to meet earlier for key collection. The room was very clean, exactly as described in the listing and very comfortable. The bed is narrower than a full but wider than a twin - it is a special size. The bathroom was also well-stocked and very clean.

Elena was such a great host. We barely meet each other, the room is big for one person and maybe a little small for a couple. The house is clean and smells well. The localization is great, near to 2 subway station and many lines. There are many small and cheap restaurants near, and was so good wake up early and take a walk at Central Park and 5th ave. I hope to visit NYC again and stay at Elena's house. The only problem is the stairway, very small, and if you have a lot of luggage you'll suffer a lot. PORT: Elena foi uma ótima host. Nós mal nos conhecemos, o quarto é suficiente para uma pessoa e talvez pequeno para um casal. A casa estava limpa e cheirosa, a localização é ótima, você fica perto a duas estações de metrô e a várias linhas. Tem muitos restaurantes simples e baratos perto, e era ótimo acordar cedo e dar uma volta pelo Central Park/5th ave. Espero visitar NYC novamente e ficar na casa de Elena, o único porém é a escadaria, péssima se você tem muita bagagem, se ela é pesada e/ou volumosa

This room was an amazing price for the location/neighborhood! Elena was a perfect and prompt host. The apartment rooms are well appointed and private. Even with other people in the apartment, I felt like I had it to myself. And there are a lot of dining options right near the apartment. I'll definitely stay there again on my next trip into the city!

very clean room, with almost needed facilites. you can even have a simple cooking there. very small spaces, considering the price and location, you may not complain about the space.

Had a great stay here in NY. Elena was very helpful and easy to get in contact with when needed. She also helped me get my bag back that the airline had lost on the flight to NY. The room was what we expected. Very small but perfect for us because of the little time we spent in it! It was also nice and clean. The area is a very nice one with a nice walk to areas like central park and times square. Handy to the subway too.

Perfect location. Room backed to a great garden and was very quiet. Typical New York...very small but adequate. If you are older or have some climbing problems, this may not be the room...but we caught our breath each floor and were usually laughing at each other by the time we got to the apt. Bed was comfortable!

Room very small and kitchen even more so though all facilities were there- fridge,micro etc.Only one shared bathroom for 3 rooms, but area good, very central and close to 59th St station,Central park and shops.,

Elena is a nice lady who goes an extra mile to make your stay comfortable. Great location and subway is just around the corner. I stayed there for a week. The room is cleaned and tidy. Though the place is small, but it got everything you need.

Great place to stay. Central location. Two blocks away from two subway stations. Wakes up in the morning with a nice view of a private courtyard. Thanks Elena for letting me leave my luggage there until evening time. Will love to stay there again next time.

Jolie petite chambre mais grand lit 'King size" très confortable, plein de rangements, cuisine et salle de bain bien équipées et propre! Elena nous a même permis de laisser nos bagages le dernier jour dans l'appartement. Thanks a lot Elena !!!

Elena was absolutely wonderful! We arrived into the city an hour ahead of schedule, and she arranged to meet us so we could leave our luggage in the apartment before check-in and not have to lug it around the city -a LIFE SAVER. On top of this, the room was more than spacious enough for two people, the bed was comfy, and the towels/bathroom/kitchen were fresh and clean. The apartment's location could not be better - a few blocks from the park, less than a block to the subway, and upstairs from a general market, pharmacy, and a few darling cafe's to steal away from the weather if need be. I should also mention how nice the view from the Green Room is. It's lovely to spend time in a room that gets so much light. I don't frequent the city, but I can't imagine using a hotel again - than you for the lovely time, Elena.

Our stay was AWESOME! This was a great location... We soon realized just how great this location was when we arrived. This was our first trip to New York and we can't say enough.

The room was nice and clean--very comfortable. We were greeted, given keys, and left be. It was perfect.

Good host! We arrived with a 30 min delay but that wasn't a problem. The adress is perfect. The 2 subways just a few steps from the apt are really useful. Thank you Elena!

The room and the place of this apartment were very nice. We very enjoyed to stay here. Bed is very comfortable and big. There are spaces to store our stuffs and our clothes and TV in bedroom was very appreciated by my friend :-) !
