  I ended up with the whole apt on Eötvös Utca, instead of a room in the Sculptor B&B on Katona József Utca, which was great. Janos and Josef were gracious hosts, very professional, had tons of good suggestions. They really want to make sure that you like their city as much as they do. I was allowed to drop off my backpack early while they were still cleaning. The directions to the apt was clear and straightforward. It is in a residential neighborhood, safe, centrally located - close enough to most sights but not touristy.

  This was my sixth trip to Budapest. I wish that I had discovered Janos and his bed and breakfast on my first trip. The location of the flat is great! On one hand it is situated within walking distance of so many amazing Budapest experiences; on the other hand, for sights farther away, the tram stop is one block away with easy an connection to the subway. Even though I had been to Budapest many times before, Janos was still able to offer me suggestions for a richer experience. Do yourself a favor: forget the hotel you were thinking about and book either the bed and breakfast or the apartment. You will get great value for your money, friendly and sincere service, and, most importantly, a rich cultural exposure. After your visit, you will leave Budapest having stayed in a real Hungarian accomodation and feeling as if you have made friends with Janos and Josef.

  I found our short stay the apartment that Janos rented a delight. He was warm, genuinely proud of his city, and very thorough regarding any information we requested. Not only did he help us to secure parking during our stay with his apartment building, he helped us to navigate around the city, suggested restaurants, and even helped us with our luggage! I would not hesitate to rent, once again, from Janos. In fact, I found my interaction with him so pleasant I might very well take less accommodations only knowing that it would be worth it for this level of customer service!

  I really enjoyed my stay at Janos's place. He was very friendly and helpful. And it is in an excellent location. I highly recommend his places (he has a few in the building).

  it was georgous! Thank you for the many insider tipps. We enjoyed a lot. The apartment is located very close to duna in the jewish district, new leopold area, which is quite central but not touristic. Running in the margret island is a must! thanks a lot for your hospitality.

  we had a great time in budapest. janos' apartment is very well equipped and janos was very helpful and a wealth of knowledge about his city. we look forward to staying with him again.

  Janos was very patient with us as we were late meeting with him thanks to Budapest traffic. He is professional and thorough down to every detail - the apartment is beautiful too! Would like to spend more time at the Graphic Apartment and see more of the city.
