Diane's home is very easy to locate and is a wonderful, tranquil home to stay in. We enjoyed Diane's home on our last night in Nashville and found the whole experience to be wonderful. If we get back to Nashville, Diane will get another call from us!

My stay at Morningstar was very pleasant. Diana was a very gracious host. I had everything that I needed. The privacy was great since I was going to an intense school for two weeks and I needed all the quite time for studying. I would most definately stay there again if I was in Nashville again. We had no problem finding Diana's & it was convenient to the major travel arteries. We only had a brief interaction since we were busy during the 3 days exploring Nashville & were out fairly early as Tony's favorite meal is breakfast.

I only wish I could have stayed in Nashville for a couple more days!! Diana's home is so unique, and full of amazing creative energy -- just like her! Throughout my brief visit in Nashville, Diana made sure that I had everything that I needed to ensure success in my many scattered endeavors. She has such a supportive spirit! As for my room and the household amenities, I could not have been more comfortable. Diana's house is absolutely perfect, and I would recommend that any and all travelers choose her home for their getaway!! I will certainly visit again. Love to you, Diana!

Diana was southern hospitality personified. We could not have asked for a more gracious host nor a finer room in a beautiful home. We are happy we stayed with Diana.

My boyfriend and I rented the space at Diana's house for a weekend and couldn't be more pleased. The room was private and spacious, and we were able to come and go as we pleased without worrying about disturbing anyone. Most importantly however, was the company. We had the opportunity to meet Diana and her daughter and grandchildren (on Saturday morning), along with John the Accountant, who was also staying with Diana. Diana and her family radiate warmth and love and caring and it was truly a pleasure to have the chance to know them. AND she made us breakfast! The food was delicious - healthy and natural AND tasty. My boyfriend and I both hope that we'll have the chance to stay with them again - thanks Diana!

Diana has been a fabulous hostess!! Our experience coming here was so wonderful. The home is beautiful and Diana has such hospitality. We have been traveling all around and Diana's stay here has been the most comfortable by far. The house is clean and absolutley beautiful. If you've never been to Nashville coming to Diana's stay is the best way to settle in, feel comfortable, and at home. It's so close to the downtown, but sits so pretty in the country. Definitely the best of both worlds staying here. The beds are very comfortable and plenty of food!! The best stay we've had on our whole trip. Highly recommend stopping at Diana's!!!! I had just arrived here from Brazil, and I was really lost! Diana took me in and made me feel at home! The room is really comfortable, and she is a really cool person! She helped me with everything that I needed, showed me around, made me breakfast! The house is great, you get everything you could possibly want in here! I totally recommend this experience!

The Wife and I was looking for a nice quiet, comfortable place to stay for an evening, kinda last minute. Diana was not only very quick to respond, but absolutely helpful and very polite and genuine... Her home was jus as impressive and very comfortable... The Bed was very nice, and the Jacuzzi tub just topped it off!

The Master suite was truly wonderful…very spacious, light filled, big comftorble bed,and being located at the far end of the house gave me the privacy i needed. Over the past couple of years, I've stayed several times at the Morningstar House and it's been such a refuge and retreat for me, as well as an energizing experience. The nearby lake is wonderfully healing, the energy in the home is warm and inviting, and Diana both allows space for my quiet time as being a lively support for my adventures when I'm in Nashville. As a bodywork professional, I need good rest and I love the cozy comfortable sleeping spaces as well as the large, lightfilled rooms in the public areas of the home. The house is clean, and well equipped and full of beautiful things from around the world. I also enjoy Diana's grandchildren, and other creative and interesting friends who are connected in the spirit of hospitality in this place. Thank YOU, Diana!

Diana was a wonderful hostess and a very polite person. She was very gracious with anything in her house and made us feel very welcome in her home. She has anything that you would need in the house(iphone charger came in handy). Her house felt very homey and we had a wonderful time in the her home.

I had such a fantastic time at Diana's place. I thought I was just getting a room but it turned out to be a full-on retreat, with great conversation, fantastic food, and a spiritually reviving experience. I would certainly recommend her place to anyone passing though the nashville area as she is supremely accomodating, extremely flexible and is a fabulous hostess in general. Oh and she has such a beautiful family. but again, I would not consider staying anywhere else in the nashville area, and certainly look forward to coming back soon.

Diane is a gentle, gracious being. I know her from Spiritual circles in Nashville and I have experienced her as an interesting presenter at spiritual events. She goes out of her way to acknowledge you and help you feel comfortable and welcome. Diana's home offers the quintessential place for the communing of artist, spiritual revivalist and creative souls. All who gather in this tucked away cottage surrounded by a peaceful naturalist environment will be rejuvenated. Diana will greet you at the door with a warm welcoming smile as you step into her sanctuary, embrace you with radical hospitality and the spirit and heart of a dancer. On many occasions I have sat on a pillow throne in a circle of artists making music, poetry, dance and story with words, hope and vision. The food is always just enough as it is communally spread out on the table featuring tasty healthy treats with a few decadent delectables to restore your energy. Yes, thoughts of going to Diana's home brings a smile to face, a tickle in my heart and an itching in my feet to dance.

I met Diane when she hosted a trip to Fes, Morocco for the World Sacred Music Festival. She made all arrangements and made sure all of our (11 of us) needs were we met in the most gracious and humorous fashion. Actually, I give her credit for introducing me to meeting my Moroccan fiance. I'd travel anywhere with Diane. She is true southern charm and hospitality all the way. She is a world traveler and loves to meet people. She's a delight in every sense of the word and I'm certain that after 1 stay you would return time and time again.

Diana and I met more than a decade ago as playful members of the improvisational community of InterPlay. I've stayed in her beautiful home more times than I can count, enjoying the truly "radical hospitality" that is an integral part of Diana's way of being. She knows how to create comfort for the weary traveler and be an amazing resource for exploring the real Nashville. A born and raised Southern woman, Diana has introduced me, a gal from California, into the delights of Southern culture. A brief story illustrating what it's like to be with her - Diana and I, and a few women friends, took a short retreat to a house along the Mississippi. While driving there, we found ourselves famished on a two-lane blacktop amidst harvested cotton fields as far as the eye could see. But Diana (of course) had a destination in mind! We stopped at a rustic general store at the side of the road where we gathered up mouth-watering pulled pork sandwiches with BBQ sauce and cold bottles of pop. To her amazement, I had never had "choclit pye" (pronounced Southern-style) so giggling, we bought all the pieces of chocolate pie in their refrigerator case for my initiation. She and I walked through edges of the cotton field behind the store, pulling the remaining puffs of fluffy whiteness from gleaned plants, another new experience for me and one that touched into the social and historical fabric of the Deep South. Being around Diana always promises adventure... You will find Diana to be a very gracious hostess, easygoing and fun to be around and I recommend her place as a great venue to "come home to" during your stay in the Nashville area.

Talk about Homecoming -- this is the place! I met Diana in 2005. She made me feel like I'd known her all my life. A year later I was involved in an almost year-long InterPlay training and needed a place to stay one weekend a month. Diana graciously offered her beautiful space which alleviated all my hospitality concerns. I felt so welcome and comfortable in her home. Because Diana is a traveler herself, she knows what a person needs -- she always made that part of my experience. Being able to talk and unwind after a flight into Nashville or to have the quiet and privacy to take a nap. AND I don't think anyone knows more about this amazing city than this fabulous woman, either. You will be enveloped in warm hospitality and have the opportunity to come to know a profound mover and shaker in the community, as well as a local artist. I am honored to have Diana as a friend.

Diana is fountain of warmth, energy, and wisdom! I first met her in 2009 through a performing arts community we are both part of, and I have found her to be extremely generous, welcoming, and down-to-Earth person. She is a respected leader in her community and has taught groups large and small around the world, and she has a lot of experience with diversity issues. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at her place!

As an author traveling the country, I found it time to share a Thanksgiving meal with my offspring and friends. We decided to centrally locate the excursion in Nashville, Tennessee, so I posted an inquiry on Craig’s List for a house to rent for my four-day stint. I immediately received a courteous and informative reply from Diane Morningstar Ault. She was cooperative, the price was reasonable. She requested a small deposit and we were off and running. We arrived at her home and she gave us the grand tour, which included four bedrooms, the mast of which is quite roomy, comfortable and includes a personal heater, which consider the time and season, was most beneficial. There is also a lovely hot tub and Jacuzzi, shower, ample space for mirrors and supplies and a very comfortable, big bed. The other three bedrooms are smaller but nice, and certainly adequate to the need. The house has lovely dining and living rooms which are spacious. The kitchen is more than adequate and there is also a sitting room with a fireplace. A bit plus for me, with my bad knees, is that the entire floor plan is on one level so I did not have to play the part of mountain goat, leaping from place to place. Diane herself is a delightful mixture of spiritual with a twinkle in her eye that replaces the ethereal with humanity and practicality. It is ideally located—right off of I-40 near Nashville Shores, and it is a pleasant, reasonable and generous experience.
