Rad's House A - Picasso Dreams

I had a great time staying in Holstee house. Dave, Mike and Fabian were great to be around. The location is ideal with plenty of choice for food and entertainment and only a short walk away from the Metro line. I will definitely be staying there again when I'm back in New York.

Mike and Dave are very friendly, discreet and have a remarkable open mind, so good guys! Rad's house is a good place to stay in new york. East village is a central location to discover new york walking in its streets. I stayed in the Ave A apartment, it is cozy and the rented room has a good size, is clean, well heated and equipped. If you want to enjoy Manhattan walking and meet kind people, share interesting discussions, so do not hesitate, Rad's house is a good choice.

I very much enjoyed my stay and Dave, Mike and Fabian's. They are 3 chilled out interesting guys and they made me feel so welcome. The room was very comfortable and the area was great. I would happily stay there again when I visit New York again. Thanks guys !x

I stayed for three nights, and had a lovely time. Even though I was out and about most of the time, the apartment was a perfect home base. The room is decently sized, and the guys were really welcoming. I wish I could have gotten to know them better, but there was too much to get out and do in the city! Great location (9th street is adorable) and great guys.

Awesome location, awesome people, awesome place! Stayed here for three weeks and absolutely loved both the place and the guys, who couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Make sure you hang out with them and get the latest on their company and their manifesto too.

A+ Better than an hotel! We had an amazing welcome there at Rad's House! Dave, Fabian and Mike are great. They enjoy meeting people and sharing there knowledges of the city. The appartment is pretty clean and the rrom is exactly what you need on a short trip. They've just bought a new bed and some new curtains, etc.. Ask them about their company too, its clever and also green-oriented. Would recommend to my closest friends.

These guys are fantastic! They are some of the nicest, coolest people we have ever met and it was such a pleasure staying with them. We left feeling we truly made some friends. The apartment (Ave A) is in a fantastic location. It is clean and comfortable and the room is quiet (good for when sleeping in NY). We stayed just as they were moving in and they made every effort to accommodate us. They told us about a lot of great places/restaurants etc in the area. Highly recommend!!

Dave, Mike and Fabian are fantastic hosts. You will not find a more kind and genuine group of friends. They are extremely flexible, attentive, and accessible. The Ave A apartment is very nice and located in an excellent area full of cafes, bars, restaurants, right by Thompkins Square park, with great access to the best neighborhoods in downtown Manhattan.

Unfortunately we didn't get to meet any of the hosts while we were in the city, but the apartment was spot on, really really great. It took little to no effort to organise keys etc and they left lots of notes for us to explain where everything was and how t use everything. The apartment itself is fantastic. Location is really good in a really cool area of the city - easy walking distance from some really decent cafes, bars and restaurants. It's pretty close to a couple of subway stations so you're really well connected to the rest of the city too. Would hands down recommend this place to anyone wanting to feel like a real new yorker whilst in the city.

It was great staying with Eva we had a lot of interesting conversations. Good location within easy access to parks, shops, food outlets and only a short walk from the Metro.

Great spot for visiting town, full of trendy places nearby: best hotdogs, best noodles, best breakfast... Very comfortable place with no noise problems at night. The apt was nice but the room really needs some cleaning in the not so visible areas (dust bunnies concentration camp under the bed and over the shelves, haha). We didn't have the chance to meet the guys because of the Christmas holidays but they were always in touch helping us. NOTE: Duvet perhaps a little bit small for two people.

Rad's House was my first airbnb experience. I'm happy to say that it was a great trip. The apt is clean, great cool design, in the fun East Village area of Alphabet City. I didn't have the pleasure to meet the guys there, even so, I was out and about all the time. It made a great home base for south of Midtown exploring (can easily walk to East and West Village, Chinatown, SoHo, TriBeCa, even Lower East Side). Plenty of great bars and restaurants and coffee and bagels within one/two blocks of the front door. Hosts were in consistent and regular contact up to the trip, so I had all expectations and directions clearly set. Great people. Highly recommended for a home base in NYC.

Rad's House on Ave B was so great! This was my first time using Airbnb and my first time subletting from a home in NYC. Eva was my host and she was so incredible, so sweet and very accommodating. I would suggest these wonderful people to anyone looking for a perfect spot in the East Village. Loved the location, loved the space, and loved the happy host. What a great place! The location is great and there are lots of fun things to do closeby. It's easy to get to and there are parking structures nearby. I had an unexpected health issue and their hospitality with respect to that made all the difference in the world! Looking forward to another visit!

We've spend a great time at NYC, staying at Rad's house at Avenue B. Indeed, we were exploring the city almost all the time, but we will be glad to come again! Thank you, guys!

The host canceled my reservation 30 days before arrival.

Eva was our host for 10 days in November and she is really helpful and nice!! The place is great, comfortable and clean, 5 min walk and you reach the subway that connects you with all city. The neighborhood is awesome, lots of places to eat and drink, close to good spots in NY! We strongly recommend the place!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Rad's place. We were there mostly by ourselves and Eva came a few days later. She was very warm and welcoming and a great person to talk to. the aparment was perfect for our stay, the neighborhood was neat, and we would gladly stay with them again! Oh, and definitely try the Y Cafe, which is a few blocks away from the apartment- the food is delicious!

Mike and Dave are among the kindest, most wonderful people I have the pleasure of having in my life. They bike, do yoga, run socially-conscious design company Holstee, and make mean hummus. They're incredibly considerate friends and accommodating hosts – you're in for a wonderful stay, and you might walk away with two fantastic friends for life.

Mike and Dave are just the best hosts you could think of. Location is great, in the vibrant heart of NYC. The guys are well connected and extremely helpful. I would go back anytime to spend some days with them.

It doesn't get any better than brothers Dave + Mike. I've known the guys for a couple years now and they're as genuine as they come. Hard to find many others who are as caring, honest, friendly and hospitable.

Coolest guys ever... kind, generous, dynamic, and radiating with positive energy. Plus, they'll use their bad-ass blender to make you concoctions beyond your wildest imagination. Really. Try them.

The Rad boys are awesome hosts and their apartment is incredible. They have made a home in the middle of New York City in a great location, cozy, comfortable and filled with so many amazing things, you may not want to leave! They're also really solid guys that you'll want to stay friends with after your trip! tip: if you can somehow convince them (I suggest using pastry as a bargaining tool), get the boys to cook for you, they've got skills!

I met Mike and Dave through friends of mine and they are the friendliest, funniest and most creative brother duo I know. They both know new york inside out, are avid bike riders and experts when it comes to places to go and things to do. They're also seasoned travelers, so they know what its like to be new to a place.

Mike and Dave are great people! Just enjoyed a great 2-week trip with them! So passionate about AirBnb and their guests! They love hosting people and socializing!

The Rad brothers have one of the coolest listings on our site. Staying with them is an experience that I highly recommend if you want to live it up while in the big apple. Michael and David are very fun and accommodating, and will make sure to show you a good time.
