If you are looking for someplace to stay, where you can be close to everything you want to see, and still feel safe & welcome, this is it! I love having guests to share my apartment with, and enjoy being a resource for where you want to go and how to get there. I can help you figure out the best sites for what you are looking for, and how to get there by bus or walking. I can also help figure out the places that are in your budget (and recommend a few great places for happy hour).

Excellent location!!! IN THE CITY, not in one of the outlying neighborhoods, and in walking distance to all the tourist sites. Yet in a safe neighborhood, without the worries of the danger in downtown/Belltown.

-Amazing view of the Space Needle and Downtown Seattle
-Centrally located, while still being a safe, urban neighborhood
-A wonderful variety of restaurants, local coffee shops, and bars within a three block radius
-Grocery store and drug store across the street
-Over 12 buses to get you all around the city and beyond
-Close to train station, ferries, and cruise lines
-Maps, guidebooks, and brochures available for guests (as well as ideas!)
-Green household
-Free use of wireless internet, Wii, DVD
-Use of the kitchen, and a laundry room in the basement (requires quarters)
-Closet & dresser space to store clothes & luggage
-Towels provided

Of note, this is for my guest bedroom, not the entire apartment. Most people know that in advance, but wouldn't want any surprises! Also, I am a 1 1/2 flights of stairs up, to keep in mind for those who have limited mobility.

Lower Queen Anne (or Uptown) is a 20 min walk from downtown, and is the home of Seattle Center, Seattle's cultural center and the site of the 1962 World's Fair, with the Space Needle, Experience Music Project, the Monorail, several theaters, and regular cultural festivals & activities. Very centrally located if taking public transportation, with over 12 buses to chose from to get you all over the city. Hotels in this neighborhood typically run from $120/night and up.

The apartment itself is in a brick building, from the 1930s. My apartment is a two bedroom, 1 bath apartment, with a great view of the Space Needle and city skyline.

Your room is the larger room in the apartment, with the window over looking the courtyard. Furnished with a queen size bed, nightstand and dresser, and extra blankets & pillows. And there have been many reports of a great night sleep! So be prepared for that.

I do have two wonderful indoor cats. But if you are allergic, this is probably not the best fit. But be assured, they are quite sweet, and no odors to worry about.

Also, parking, while possible, can be a bit of a challenge. So if you are bringing your car, be forewarned. There is on-street metered parking available (free on Sundays & after 6pm), and many pay lots. And if you don't mind a bit of a climb, there is free parking up the hill behind me.

** PLEASE NOTE: If you are a single man, I will need a full airbnb profile before I can accept you as guest (photo, info, etc).**

ALSO, I am unable to take last minute requests - I need at least 24 hour notice.
