Thanks a lot to Axel to give me a wonderful first experience in airbnb. It is very convient to live here. The guide is extremely useful and with a lot of details. The lights can be controlled remotely, entertainments are fruitful. A lot of fruits and soft drinks leaving in the house. I have a memorible trip in Paris!

Hard to add much to all the great things others have said. Axel is so organized that our arrival, stay and departure were completely seamless without having met Axel in person. On the odd occasion we had a question, Axel was exceptionally responsive (text, email or phone). The location really is convenient: easy walks to the Pompidou, Marais, Louvre and Notre Dame, with many Metro stops nearby. The restaurants of rue Montorgueil, the corner fruit shops and Monoprix make finding food and other amenities very easy. Highly recommend. Merci, Axel!

I can't say enough great things about Axel and his fantastic Paris apartment. I was a little tentative at first as this was my first AirBnB experience, but Axel quickly took away my fears. From the very start Axel e-mailed me quick and informative directions on how to get to his place. His directions were spot on and he waited outside the apartment when we arrived to greet us and show us around his place. The apartment had EVERYTHING we could have needed. A cozy kitchen, comfy bed, clean sheets and towels and great entertainment. (He also has a nice little HTPC setup so you can watch movies on a projector screen.) Axel was kind enough to leave some breakfast food on the counter and drinks in the fridge also. The location was perfect, less than 5 minutes walking to the metro which can get you pretty much anywhere in central Paris within 15-20 minutes. Also not too far from Notre Dame Cathedral and the latin quarter, which are both well within walking distance. Another plus is the metro line sits only a few stops away from Gare du Nord, so if you are planning on traveling by train to any other destinations it makes it REALLY convenient to get to the train station without having to transfer. I would stay at Axel's place again in a heartbeat. Forget the cold, lackluster experience of a hotel. Live like a local and stay at Axel's pad, you will not be disappointed!

This was my first AirBnB experience, and I totally recommend it to anyone! The speedy response to all my questions from Axel was excellent as were the PDF directions he provides to his place. Despite being in the sex district, this is a great location and a safe place to stay, even coming home late at night. The free internet and international calls was a very welcomed way to stay in touch with home. The brekky provisions, croissants, rolls, jams and fruit were a lovely touch as was leaving a sleeping bag for my son to use during our stay. Having a well equipped kitchen, and well stocked fridge was great for a home cooked dinner on our first night there. I loved the Nespresso machine! The info booklet for the apartment was very handy as well as the Paris information booklets. Both my son and I felt comfortable and totally enjoyed our stay. Thanks Axel

The place was fantastic, directions to the apartment were spot on as were all of the detailed instructions (and pictures ) of how to use all of the entertainment systems. Particularly loved the lighting, free internet and unlimited dvds to watch on the projector screen! The place was nice and roomy and clean with plenty on offer for brekkie. Axel was really patient and text me straight back when I (a little technologically challenged) was struggling with the movies) Thanks Axel and sorry for texting you so late when you were away in another country ! We would definitely stay again!!

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in September, and Axel and his place are just as great as all the other reviewers said. He really went above and beyond with all the little extras, like sodas to drink, shampoos to use, the guidebooks and maps on Paris for reference, plus use of his computer. I can't think of anything that this place was missing, definitely a fantastic place to stay in Paris.

Simply put, great host. We have arrived quite early in the morning (6:15) but he welcomed us at the entrance and offered us the shower and allowing us to drop off the luggage (official check in time is after 14:00). The place is walking distance to Louvre museum and good access to pretty much anywhere by metro. I'll definitely rent his place next time as well.

Nice change from your typical Parisian hotel. Location is very convenient. There are nice hidden restaurants right on the same street. I highly recommend chez meme. The studio apartment has plenty of gadgets fitting of the bachelor pad. I found everything in clean shape. The only bone I have to pick is the lack of space to hang or put my clothes away. I would give this place a 5 star if that were addressed.

I had the pleasure to have Axel's place for myself a few times when he was away, and I have to say that it was always a nice experience. It is so well-centered, 5 minutes from les Halles and all its metro lines, 5 minutes from the Centre George Pompidou, really close from the Marais and all the galleries, shops... I always had a really good vibe in this apartment. It will always be perfect for a couple or anyone wanting to experience Paris from its central location in a quiet apartment in safe neighborhood.

I've stayed in Axel's comfortable apartment quite a few times when visiting Paris. It is in the heart of Paris, right in the trendy Quartier Montorgueil and all it's life (galleries, lively streets, museums, cafés, bars, restaurants, concerts, cinemas, day life, night life). The Centre George Pompidou, the Louvre, Notre Dame, Sorbonne and Quartier Latin are all accessible within minutes of walk. Amazingly, the apartment itself is very quiet, calm and secure. Silent at night, cool during hot days... Your interaction with Axel will always be perfect: speedy, simple, courteous, and precise. The apartment is exactly as seen on the pictures, Internet works instantly... I trully wish I could have this apartment in Paris!
