Ive owned this great condo for 4+ years now...and love every day I spend here. You will too! There is a fabulous bohemian vibe to the space with s an open layout main area. Roche bobois mahjong sofa (great for lounging around on over morning coffee ....or drinking wine and watching a movie and a noguchi coffee table as well as a few other fun pieces and great antiques...and lots and lots of really lovely plants!
youll feel right at home with a newly renovated bathroom w/rainshower head and a washer and dryer in the unit in case you need a quick load of laundry done. The kitchen is also newly renovated and is all stainless w/great fossilized granite counters...and I have plenty of cooking supplies if youd like to take advantage and whip yourself up a meal.
If you come during the warmer months you can take advantage of a treehouse feel off the back deck....or privacy on the gigantic roofdeck w/a chimnea to make a fun fire. or practice your hula hooping skills...and enjoy the gorgeous sunsets.
Close to Longwood Medical center for long term stays. Great option for week long conferences.
The apartment is a 12 min walk from both the Stonybrook and Jackson sq T stops on the boston metro orange line. And an 8 min walk from the last stop on the green line (E) Heath st stop. Its also a few minute walk from a few nice restaurants...lounges and coffee shops....as well as a couple local grocers if you want to cook your own meals.
I am on a dead end st in a part of town that does NOT require permitted street parking...so if you are driving into town you can easily park in the area for free!
Fenway park is a 2mile walk... or 25mins on public transportation. The Jamaica Pond (which has sail boats and kayaks and paddleboats rentable seasonally) and a running path is just a 5min walk ....and where I go for my morning runs with everyone else in town. Jamaica Plain is a very desirable section of Boston that is blossoming with tons of tiny great restaurants and gorgeous old Victorians. Its like being in a neighborhood within the city.
There are two rooms. The guest room is done in shades of green with a comfy queen size tempurpedic memory foam mattress and down pillows. The second room is actually my personal room (but will be cleaned up for your stay and has a queen pillow top mattress....and soothing shades of gray. Both rooms have Elfa closets for you to store your belongings...and bottom up top down window coverings for privacy and light.
There is also a twin size ikea platform bed that can be used in the living room 'nook' for additional guests as well as the sofa....the cushions can be spread to tile the floor to create a dramatic king size sleeping area good for another 1-2 guests. You could feasibly host a group of 7 in my apartment comfortably (except for the inevitable bathroom line - lol*)
I have two very sweet cats...Turtle(calico) and Froggy (white persian mix)......they are extremly affectionate and will snuggle up with you at night if you want them to!
The price includes a glorious continental style breakfast with an assortment of fruit and possibly fresh baked scones and snacks for your breakfast/stay. as well as hard boiled eggs, yogurt and granola and assorted nuts. I love to cook and am extremly open to any special requests. All other food you will have to arrange for yourself. (please note for stays over 4 days I will not be doing a daily food offering...but will supply foods that will last for the first 4 days and then you will be on your own to explore the delicious local restaurants)

**Please be aware that my apartment is on the 3rd floor of the building and is a walk up. This is how I am able to have a private roofdeck...but it does mean that there are two flights of stairs to walk up**
