The house is situated in 4 acres of grounds some lawned other areas to fields and rough pasture with ponds as a nature trial. We welcome pets, but we do insist that they are kept under strict control at all times. There are Ducks, Chickens, Conemara Ponies and a goat within the grounds.
The House has views over Dunmanus Bay and the Mizenhead and is 1/2 mile from the sea.
An ideal base for walking "The Sheepshead Way" we offer free "drop offs" & "pick ups" so you can base your walking holiday from your own "home from home."

Your host's are Mike Hegarty & Julia Bird, Mike is from a maritime background as Capt in the Merchant Navy, A former member of Poole Lifeboat Crew & Humber Rescue and Julia was formerly director of the Theatre Royal Bath and was responsible for the creation of Peter Ustinov's one man show. memrobilia from which are displayed around the house.
