Tunney-Garrison Beach Bungalows

A very nice beach house in Redondo Beach. Don't forget to visit the Pier two blocks away.

Couldn't have been better! The cottage is exactly as pictured & 1 blk from the beach/pier. Never met the host but he took care of us nonetheless, always responding quickly to all calls/txt. The full size kitchen was great & if it had been warmer, we would've cooked out on the grill in the nice yard. The info book Omar leaves is helpful but needs updated to include FYI for guest to be aware of the parking restictions on the street for Thurs/Fri mornings.....I got a $45 souvenir from the city of Redondo :) I would recommend staying here to anyone wanting the price of a hotel and the comfort of home. I'll definately be back! PS.....if you have a special occasion to celebrate....eat at Kinkaids down on the pier......pricely but worth it...and if you sign in there on your FB, they give you 1 entree free.......nice!

We had the best time in Omar's cozy bungalow! Location/neighborhood is great, ocean is just around the corner. Omar was a great host and he makes you feel most welcome! The bungalow is well equipped, everything you need for a good vacation is there and Omar is always willing to help you with anything you might require. We are definitely staying in this place again! Thanx, mate!

From the beginning, my wife and I felt like we were staying at a friends house, it felt like home. We normally stay in a hotel for business, so this was a very nice break from the normal check in circus. The bungalow was clean and had all the amenities of home.

Love my stay here over the weekend. Perfect for 2. My gf and I had a great experience staying here. We never met Omar in person. Communication was via text messaging. The bungalow was clean and had everything we needed. Clean towels, sheets, floors and kitchen. Walking distance to Redondo beach and pier. I would def come back if I need a place to stay while visiting Southern California. Thanks Omar!

Omar's bungalow is super cute, and comfy, its also a good deal considering it's walking distance to the beach. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

This is an awesome location! It had everything we needed and all the cooking basics. (salt, olive oil...) Lots of local places to eat too. When back in LA will come back to the Tunney-Garrisons Beach Bungalows.

I stayed with my boyfriend at Omar's cottage for three nights and it was amazing. The bungalow is so adorable and perfectly situated on a quiet block by the Redondo Beach Pier. The bungalow was clean and well-stocked with towels, lotions, and shampoos. The little back patio was awesome and perfect for grilling out. The neighbors (and their pets!) were also very nice and helpful. Overall, Omar is an awesome host and the experience was fantastic. I think we'll be booking the cottage again next year!

I've known Omar as a landlord, roommate, and friend and can say, without a doubt, he is one of my favorite people to spend time with. His easy-going, vibrant, and optimistic personality make him the perfect host. I have been to the Tunney Garrison cottage on numerous occasions and love the unique and warm feel of the property. It is located in the ideal spot, walking distance away from some of the best restaurants and, of course, beautiful beaches.

We both have know Omar for many years and enjoy his company immensely.... he is one of the greatest easy going fun guys we know....He truly has a great disposition and is extremely accommodating to people from all walks of life. We have come to know him extremely well as he owns the property next door to ours....all of which was originally built at the turn of the century as a B&B of sorts. Between us we have 7 little original beach bungalows sprinkled amongst the grounds....It is an extremely special & rare piece of history....not many of this kind left standing....He has spent hours restoring the cottages and it is full of fine craftsmanship....A quintessential beach experience....come enjoy & experience you won't be disappointed. This beach cottage is darling....literally a block from the beach and nestled in this quaint beach town that travelers have come to know about and enjoy....
