Description

The space

Please send a brief bio of yourself and the people staying here with you before booking. A photo would be nice too.

A beautiful, warm and clean apartment nestled between the Hudson River on the west, historic Harlem, southeast, Sugar Hill, east, Washington Heights, north, and Columbia University, south, in our culturally diverse neighborhood of Hamilton Heights.

The apartment is located on one of the most beautiful blocks in NYC. It is on the street level which makes it easy for people with stair concerns. It is decorated with comfort and style in mind. The bedrooms are super quiet and have the most comfortable beds.

The apartment is a large 2 bedroom/2 bath duplex completely separate with its own private entrance and with access to the serene backyard garden. There are 2 queen beds, 1 full bed, and 2 twin beds, free WiFi, towels, sheets, pillows, iron and board, hairdryers, and bathrobes. One bathroom has a jacuzzi. The bedrooms have an air conditioner and a TV for dvds. (Small library provided). Sorry, no TV service.

The kitchen is fully equipped with good knives, cutting board, pots and pans, toaster, coffee maker, coffee grinder, dishes, glasses, and silverware.

FAQ:

Q: Can you quote me the total price?

A: You can see your total price. Click on the dates requested and number of guests. My price is listed above "Book It" and the Airbnb guest service fee is listed beneath it.

Q: Is the additional $50 charge per person after 6 people applicable to children?

A: Yes, it is.

Q: Will you hold the apartment for us until we are able to pay?

A: I'm sorry, I accept reservations on a first-pay basis. I have lost too many reservations trying to honor reservations based on first inquiry. Thank you for understanding.

Q: Can I check-in early or late?

A: You can always check-in late. I will try to accommodate early check-in whenever possible. If I have guests staying the night prior, I do not require they leave until 11am.

Q: Can we have a late check-out?

A: If my next guests do not arrive until later in the day, then yes, I will always try to accommodate your needs. If they arrive earlier in the day, then I will need you to check out by 11am. If you would like me to store your luggage later, that can be arranged. If it is possible to check-out late and you need to stay after 3pm, there is a day rate fee of $100.

Thank you so much and have a wonderful stay in NYC!

Happy travels,

Karen

The apartment is imbued which charm, character, and cleanliness. Hardwood floors, beautiful interior doors, exposed brick walls make for beautiful surroundings. The owners have put a great deal of thought into providing details to ensure your comfort. All the beds were extremely comfortable with lots of pillows. The bathroom upstairs has an incredible spa tub. After walking almost 8 miles each day, the tub was a wonderful way to restore. The 1 train was a short 2 blocks away and a easy commute to main attractions. I can't imagine a better place to stay!

What a charming home! There's nothing I can say that hasn't already been stated in these reviews. The subway is a block away. The neighborhood is very quiet. The home is very clean, very cozy and has everything you need to begin and end your day. The hosts are very hospitable and also provided us with recommendations to local eateries. Thank you for helping to make our 1st trip to NYC a memorable one. We hope to stay at your home when we come back. Did I mention the Jacuzzi tub and use of comfy bathrobes?

The place was fantastic, very comfortable and warm. It's well set up & in a nice neighborhood. The internet only worked well in one room and not downstairs. We'd rent again. Karen was responsive and accommodating.

Our stay was made so convenient by the cleanliness and convenience of the apartment. We had all the amenities of home and were able to cook and entertain our family during our four day stay. The Airbnb is well-furnished and decorated and the beds are comfortable. We will definitely tell others about this wonderful apartment.
